Tanntra Yoga

It is often said that Tantra and Bhakti Yoga are one in spirit: love as the supreme path. While their language and methods may differ, Tantra philosophy is in essence Bhakti Yoga—devotion—expressed through a vision that embraces all of life as sacred, and the heart’s longing as the surest way to union.

What Is Tantra Philosophy?

The word Tantra means “to weave” or “to expand.” Its central insight is revolutionary for its time: nothing is inherently evil or unspiritual. The body, the senses, desire, nature, relationships—all are not obstacles to God; they are the very fabric through which the Divine reveals itself. You do not need to run away from life to find God; you sanctify life, and use every experience as a thread to weave yourself into union. Tantra says: lift the finite upward to meet the Infinite, rather than rejecting the finite to reach the Infinite.

Tantra Philosophy Is Bhakti Yoga

Tantra and Bhakti share the same beating heart: love is the highest power, and surrender is the supreme method. Here is how they are one:

✨ Love as the Supreme Force

Bhakti teaches that love for God dissolves all karma and ignorance. Tantra declares the same: the universe exists because the Divine loves to become many, to love itself. All creation is an act of love. To love the Beloved is to join the very force that holds the cosmos together.

Bhakti says: Love God with all your heart. Tantra says: Love God with your body, your senses, your joy, your whole life—for all are sacred expressions of the Beloved.

Tantra Yoga originated from Shiva.

As the Sassani explain Shiva to be an archetypal being, we classify him as a lower 7th density entity.

  • Lower 7th density is Taraka Brahma
  • 7th density is Saguna Brahma
  • 8th density is Nirguna Brahma

Humans are currently at 3rd density.

Tantra Yoga is a combination of 2 ideas: Tantra and Yoga.

  • Yoga is the union of the individual mind with the Supreme Mind.
  • Tantra is one system for attaining that union.

Tantra

Tantra is a spiritual system created by Shiva.

  1. Shiva-Shakti or Yin-Yang
  2. 5 Elements (Ngu Hanh)
  3. 7 Chakras

The non-Tantric Yoga only focus on the chakras and not on Shiva-Shakti or the 5 Elements.

In Tantra is divided into Hindu and Buddhist Tantras.
