Part One: The Download and Action Connection

Bashar: Last night of your time, we spoke about the idea of downloads. We will reiterate a few points briefly because there is connection between the idea of download and take action.

We spoke about the idea of the communion between the higher self as it downloads to the physical brain, which then transmits to the physical mind information. We reminded you that the higher mind conceives, the brain receives, the physical mind perceives. We talked about the mechanism by which that occurs, involving the pineal gland and the neurochemical transmitters it creates to facilitate that connection between higher non-physical mind through the physical brain into the personality construct.

The reason we remind you of the idea of the download—all the information that comes through the conduit of imagination, inspiration, and communion with the higher mind—is that the idea is a two-part process. Downloading is the first part, but taking action is the second part.

Once again, by analogy, you can liken it to the idea of electricity. If you are receiving information, if you are receiving inspiration, if you do not actually flow that information through you—apply it by physical action in your physical reality—then there is really no point in the continuation of the downloading of information. If you do not flow it through you, you have short-circuited its ability to be applied in physical reality. Therefore, the downloaded information can simply stay within you, build up within you, and the downloads in a sense can seem to cease, for there is no reason to pick up any more information if you haven’t already used what you’ve been given.

So it is crucial to understand that in order to really use the information, to allow more information to come through, taking action is very important in your physical reality.

Excitement as the Foundation

Bashar: When we talk about taking action as we have many times, we are referring to the idea of taking action on the things that excite you the most, because excitement is the physical translation of the vibratory energy that represents your true self.

Obviously there are many ways in which you can take action, and we will be discussing these today of your time. In this discussion, we will engage some of you specifically, personally, to apply this idea of action in your lives, in your own personal and specific situations.

If you are having any degree of difficulty in manifesting what you prefer, we can discuss in specific terms what actions might be necessary to unstick yourselves, unblock yourselves, allow that information, that energy to flow, and to create an effect of manifestation in your reality.

The Secret of The Secret

Bashar: Let us remind you once again of the basics of taking action. When we spoke of the idea now on your planet that is labeled “The Secret,” we talked about the secret of The Secret. It is all well and good to have passion about a thing, but you must also be passionate about having passion in order for it to really continue.

Many people will say they are following and acting on their passion, but they give up all too easily when they do not get what they expect. The idea is that if you’re not passionate about being passionate, then the idea of the passion will not be sustained. For the idea is that that which truly you are passionate about, you would never give up on. You would look for any avenue, any way, any methodology whatsoever by which to pursue that idea.

Expectation vs. Expectancy

Bashar: Once again, when we talk about the idea of taking action, it is within the context of understanding that it is to be without specific expectation. You can have, for lack of a better term, the expectancy that it will bring you what you need, what you require—it will increase, accelerate, and expand your joy, your creativity, your passion. But the expectation refers to the specific way in which you might envision a thing coming to fruition.

Your physical mind does not really have the capability of knowing exactly how a thing may manifest. But it does have the capability of envisioning a symbolic manifestation in your mind’s eye that represents the idea of that particular reality that you desire, that you prefer.

We are not saying that what your physical mind might imagine as a picture that represents that reality you prefer cannot manifest. It can, and sometimes often does, exactly as you have pictured it. But what we are reminding you of is that whatever it is the physical mind is capable of conjuring up as an image of that so-called preferred reality—that idealized reality, that desired reality—is not necessarily the highest depiction of that reality you actually desire, of that state of being. The physical mind can only imagine so much in the context of its physical reality.

Whatever it is you picture as a vision of the reality you prefer, you can use that as a template, as a guide. Use it to allow yourself to feel, to identify and feel the vibration, the excitement, the passion that represents that reality. But please remember that whatever picture you have conjured from your physical mind may seem to you the highest possible representation of that idea, but to the higher mind it’s the lowest possible representation. The higher mind will take that as a foundation and can go up from there, actually giving you something manifest, something for you that is far greater, far more exciting, far more imaginative than you were capable of imagining with the physical mind.

That’s why it is important to not insist with your expectation that the vision your physical mind conjures for you must be the way it occurs. If you insist on it, you’re actually stopping the higher mind from giving it to you in a way that might be better than you imagined. Just use it as a guide, knowing that it is the vibration the higher mind needs to key off of to then bring to you what you are willing to allow to come to you.

The Commitment of Action

Bashar: This idea of taking action is paramount and key to fulfilling whatever that vision represents. Taking action, because you are physical beings, is making a commitment. It is demonstrating to your higher mind that you are willing to commit to that reality, to that vibration, to that state of being—that you are open to receiving anything that is of that state of being.

It is also being willing to look at anything within yourself—a belief system, a definition, an emotion, a thought—anything within yourself that needs to be processed in order for you to become a more integrated being, in order to move forward in the direction of that preferred reality, that preferred state of being.

As you take actions in your life in the direction of the things that excite you the most, you will start a process, start a ball rolling that will unlock certain parameters within your personality construct. Certain beliefs and certain definitions will be brought to your attention. You will be made conscious of them.

When you are made conscious of them, it is not because you are stuck with them. It is because this is what you need to deal with so that it gives you the opportunity to move beyond it, to integrate it and move beyond it. Anytime anything like that comes up, even if you didn’t expect it, it is a joyful event that gives you the opportunity to propel yourself through it and beyond it.

Stepping Stones

Bashar: Remember, every point, every idea is a stepping stone. If you don’t validate the one that’s there, you cannot use it to get to the next one. It will be as if there is a gap.

The idea of taking action is an overall holistic process of taking steps forward in what you might typically call faith—but it doesn’t really require faith as you understand it. It can be a knowing, an absolute knowing that your higher mind is guiding you and that the steps you take and the things presented to you in life, when used in a positive way, when acted on in a positive way, will get you where you actually wish to go.

They’re there to give you that journey in a particular form, a particular process that actually gives you the ability to fully appreciate and fully utilize what it is that ultimately will manifest. The process is for that reason. Taking action is for that reason—for learning the things you need to learn, experiencing the process you need to experience, in order that when the thing itself manifests, you will have more capability, more appreciation to utilize it in the best possible way for all concerned.

Practical Application: Choosing What to Act On

Bashar: When we talk about the idea of taking action on your excitement, please remember it doesn’t mean you have to have some sort of particular life-spanning career or project in mind. You can, that’s fine, but you don’t have to start there if you don’t have one in mind.

The idea, first and foremost, is to recognize that at any given moment you have available to you a number of options of things you could do. All you have to do is look at all the options available to you and act on the one that is most exciting to you—that you have the greatest degree of ability to take action on at that moment.

If more than one seems equally exciting, you can either take action on either and let it guide you as to whether to keep going in that direction, turn around and do the other one, or you can relabel, redefine, and re-identify the two apparently equally exciting things as simply different aspects of one larger overriding exciting thing.

The first criteria: choose whatever it is that is the most exciting. Secondly, that you have the greatest degree of ability to actually do something about, and take it as far as you can until you can take it no further. When you reach that new crossroads, look around for what opportunities, circumstances, and situations are once again most representative of the most exciting thing, choose that, and act on it.

It’s not about looking for those things that you think are supposed to appear connected to what you think excites you. It’s simply about following whatever is most exciting and knowing that the reason it’s most exciting is because it is connected to where you want to go. That’s why it’s exciting—not because it has to look like it’s connected. Very often the things that excite you the most will not necessarily appear to be connected to other things that excite you, but they may actually in fact be representative, moving in that direction of the path of least resistance.

Your physical mind may think the path of least resistance is this way, but your higher mind will show you, through the idea of what comes with the most excitement, what the path of least resistance actually is—even if it seems a little circuitous at first. The excitement tells you it’s actually the shortest, quickest, most effortless path. Trust the excitement. Trust the passion. It will lead you in the proper direction, allow you to process what you need to process, allow you the synchronicity you need to experience, and get you where you’re going in the best possible way with the highest amount of ability and appreciation to use what you manifest.

Synchronicity and Timing

Bashar: Synchronicity plays a big key in the idea of taking action. When you are willing to really put yourself out there, take action, make a commitment to the things you say excite you, do whatever you can to make that a physical reality for yourself—to make it real, to feel it, taste it, smell it, touch it, see it, hear it, to really make it as real as possible—more and more synchronicity will occur in your life.

Synchronicity will bring to you the right people, the right places, the right time, the right support exactly when you need it. It may not come one second before you need it, but it will not come one second later than you need it. That’s what synchronicity is all about—perfect timing. The coming together, the right place and time, of all the elements that demonstrate to you that everything is one, that everything is connected.

Synchronicity is the linear spacetime representation of that fact: everything touches everything else, and any part that needs to be there in your kit will be there exactly when you need it—not a second later, but not a second sooner. If you don’t need it, there’s no point in it showing up.

Many of you hesitate to take some of the actions that are necessary to get things rolling because you’re waiting for something to show up, thinking, “I’ll take the action when that thing’s there.” But in fact it actually works the other way around more often than not. When you take the action, then that thing is there when you need it. That’s what you need to learn to trust—that’s how the kit usually works. Sometimes it might be there first, but many times it may not be, but that should not stop you. The whole process will occur when it needs to, in exactly the manner that it does.

Mocking Up the Vision

Bashar: We have also talked about the idea of creating as solidly as possible the vision that you have in your mind of what represents your ideal reality. We have talked about the idea of mocking it up in physical terms, simulating it if you will, as best as you can. This is still an important key.

Many people who consider themselves to be successful manifestors will have, at various points in their lives, had a vision—but they will actually have play-acted the vision out physically in some fashion, even though it may not actually have been, at the moment, the “real” thing.

An actor who wishes to act on stage or in a movie may, before they have ever given a part, go to a stage or sound stage, hire their friends to run a camera, and act out a part. They will go through the actual physical motion, mocking it up as though they really are at that moment making a real movie, doing it for real, being a real actor.

By doing that, by taking that kind of action, not only acting on the things you are capable of acting on that apparently relate to the thing you prefer, but also mocking it up and acting through that scenario, you train your body consciousness to get used to that vibration of that reality. The more real you can make it, the more real your brain and your body will believe that it is. The more real your brain and body believe it is, the easier it will be for you to align with your higher mind and allow the higher mind to manifest that reality for you.

We recognize that even though we have discussed this idea many times, many of you will still think we are talking metaphorically and will just do the exercise in your mind and will not actually go to the length to actually physically transform your physical environment to actually be as close a representation of the reality you prefer. We are urging you strongly to actually take action in the direction of creating in your reality some representation as close to the vision of that reality as you can—something that is physically present, to make it look as much like that reality as possible.

Key off of those representations as though they are real, which is why it’s important to make them look as real as possible. Use your imagination—not just to sit around and use it, but use your imagination while you are physically mocking it up, to play-act through that and get used to it. It’s like rehearsal of that reality. The more you rehearse, the better you get, and the more you actually find yourself then living that reality.

Mirroring Your Ideal Self

Bashar: Another variation of the idea of taking action in that vision in your mind is to pay very close attention to the version of you you see in that image of your ideal reality. Very often many of you will have this image of yourself living this wonderful reality, but you will forget to pay attention to the fact that the behavior of the version of you you see in that image is very different than the behavior you exhibit on a day-to-day basis.

The idea of seeing yourself in that vision of the ideal reality you prefer is for the purpose of creating a mirror reflection for you to mimic. If you become like that person, if you act like that person, you are more likely to have the reality you see that version of you having.

Observe closely the thoughts, the words, the deeds, the body language, the physical behavior of that version of you in that reality. That version of you will do things very differently than you go about doing things in your day-to-day reality. You have the ability to use your imagination this way to point out the difference between the two, so that you can create less difference between the two.

The more you act like him or her in that version of your ideal reality, the more you will attract that reality. Pay attention to the body language and take that version of you through all the typical daily routines that you may have in your life or that you want in that reality—even if it is something you typically consider ordinary or mundane. Watch how that you does it, because if that you is actually in a reality that is representative of his or her passion, that you is going to be doing even the ordinary things in a much different way than you might do.

Take that you grocery shopping, for example. If you look at that you and the way that you does it, that’s the way for you, to the best of your ability, to do the same thing. Mock it up as best as you can, act out as closely as you can the way in which that you would do it. Get as close as you can—that’s all you need to do. As long as you’ve made the commitment to get as close as you can, the vibration will be read by the higher mind as the full commitment. It doesn’t always have to be exact as long as you are willing to get as close as you can.

Walk down the street and say, “How would the ideal me with the ideal reality be walking down this street?” Head held high, a smile for everyone, feeling great, light on my feet—not moping down the sidewalk wondering when it’s all going to happen. Because the version of you for whom it has already happened doesn’t have a reason to do that.

The Flow of Energy

Bashar: Taking action is the willingness to understand, the willingness to know that by doing so, you are bringing that downloaded information, that downloaded inspiration, that downloaded imagination, that downloaded vision, that downloaded energy, and you are grounding it, applying it, putting it out there so that you are creating a flow.

When you create a flow, you empty the vessel. When you empty the vessel, more can be poured in, and more will come, and more will keep coming, and it will never stop. There are times when it may seem to stop, but that doesn’t mean it actually has stopped. It may simply mean that there is a reason to pause and ponder what’s going on and contemplate in a peaceful manner. That doesn’t mean anything is stopped.

Never label anything as an obstacle or it will be experienced as an obstacle. Simply allow yourself to sit with it, let it be what it is, knowing it’s there for a reason. How do you know it’s there for a reason? Because you say so.

Remember, nothing in creation will contradict you. It never has before and it never will—even when you insist on having extremely negative realities. Creation doesn’t contradict you. It’s not going to contradict you when you insist on having a positive one. So feel free to have whatever reality you prefer.

But because you are physical beings, it is imperative that you take action in the direction of what you prefer, or the universe will not experience the commitment from you that will flip the switch to allow things to happen, to reinforce that reality. If you are not taking action, you’re actually saying you don’t really want it, and therefore you are getting what you ask for—nothing, stasis, static. But when you flow, everything flows. You must uncork the valve, and then the genie can grant your wishes—the genie within you.

Group Interaction: Book Writing

Participant: Hi Bashar, good day. I’d like to share rather than ask a question. About two years ago I had an epiphany, an inspiration to write a book about mentoring youth because I realized there was none on the market. I spent several months putting together a book proposal and got an agent to try to shop it to publishers. All the publishers said they didn’t think there was a market for it. I’ve been so busy with my organization that I put it on the back shelf. I decided to force myself to carve out at least two hours on Sunday afternoons to work on the book. The last month or two I’ve been working on Sunday afternoons and I’m really feeling the download—it’s very exciting. The agent contacted me in December and said it was time to shop it again, so he’s now promoting it to publishers. I just really feel in the flow and I’m very grateful for this workshop.

Bashar: Thank you for your sharing. Often this is all it takes. You must remember when you say you don’t have enough time, you’re the one creating the time. You can create whatever time you need. The only reason it may seem as if you don’t have enough time to do something is because you may be having expectations about the kinds of things you think you need to do. But when you act on your passion, you will clearly see that your excitement and your passion are not only the driving engine but also the organizing principle of your life. Whatever needs to be done that is relevant to your passion will be done, and whatever is left over does not necessarily need to be done at that moment.

Group Interaction: Singing and Vocal Issues

Participant: My whole focus this life has been music. I selected this body because there was a good chance the vocal cords would function as I wanted them to, and they have. The challenge I’m having is that for the last year and a half, my throat hurts when I sing or talk too much. I’ve done a cleansing fast for two weeks, which helped somewhat but debilitated the rest of my body. I’ve seen a doctor who said if it didn’t get better he would have to do a biopsy. I strapped a bloodstone to my throat because I was told it could help.

Bashar: As a musician, is singing the only representation of your passion?

Participant: No, except that it’s the only area I’m skilled in.

Bashar: Is it the only area you wish to be skilled in?

Participant: No, I would like to be skilled in other areas, but singing is like flying to me.

Bashar: Remember that when we talk about following your passion, it always comes with acting on your passion to the best of your ability and taking it as far as you can. When you can take it no further at any given moment, act on the next most exciting thing you’re able to take action on. If for the moment your vocal cords are saying now is not the time to push us, what is the next most exciting thing you could take action on?

Participant: Probably learning to play the piano, or possibly the bass.

Bashar: Will you begin to do that?

Participant: Yes, because I want to.

Bashar: Passion is the organizing principle. When one aspect of your joy simply cannot be acted on to the fullest that you would prefer, act on whatever aspect you can act on next and let the other take a rest. Once you do that, you will bring all aspects more into play, and then they can all work together in proper timing. Just because you can fly when you sing doesn’t mean you can’t fly when you play the piano.

Participant: It’s just a longer runway.

Bashar: Who says a longer runway can’t be just as enjoyable?

Participant: I’d like to fly now.

Bashar: Then fly now—to the piano teacher. You will always put on the brakes when you are attempting to force yourself in a direction that is not necessarily the path of least resistance. Take a cue from the signs that occur naturally. Don’t assume you’re supposed to smash your way through what you’re calling a brick wall when it might simply be a sign saying “go left.” Follow that flow, and when you follow the flow of your energy, other things will start to flow back. You may find one day while you’re simply playing the piano that you just automatically start singing, and the harmony that comes out between the piano and your voice will finally tell you why you needed to move in that direction.

Group Interaction: The “How” Question

Participant: I think I’ve been identifying a belief structure that I hold—that there is an inherent “how” in taking action. I want to make a cup of tea, I have to make sure there’s a cup, get water, have tea—these all require a “how.” The mind has to ask those questions.

Bashar: Does it? Do you actually ask those questions when you say you want a cup of tea? Do you not just go about the business of making the cup without thinking about how you’re doing it? Isn’t it automatic at this point?

Participant: Yes, in that sense.

Bashar: So you’re saying that can be applied to any endeavor?

Participant: Yes, I am.

Bashar: When we talk about the idea that the physical mind isn’t built to understand how something’s going to happen, we’re talking about the concept of manifestation, not day-to-day instructions of how you learn to do something—how you make a cup of tea, how you learn to drive a car. We’re not talking about instructionals. We’re talking about manifestation energy. The “how” that comes from the higher mind is different.

Participant: My passion right now is to make a film.

Bashar: Then make a film.

Participant: The processes of making a film involve a lot of “how to” questions.

Bashar: The idea is to learn the instructionals to be prepared for the part of the “how” that isn’t included in the instructions. That’s the difference. As your society says, chance or synchronicity favors the prepared mind. We are not saying you have to be completely blank. If you trusted the higher mind enough, if you got enough belief systems in alignment with it, you could actually learn something instantly—you could just look at something and know how to use it. But if you’re not going to do it that way right now, there’s nothing wrong with a little instruction.

The instruction prepares you for the part that’s not included in the instructions—how’s this all going to come about? What way, what path, what door is the opportunity going to come through that will allow me to actually take action on this dream?

Group Interaction: The Truth-Seeker

Participant: All through my childhood I’ve been searching for the truth—the truth of why we’re here. I recognize the real truth is within yourself. I’m in this limbo state where I’m watching and content, but it drives me mad. I’m always asking “what do we do next?” The question is: what’s my passion?

Bashar: You remember that we said you can actually take it easy on a small level first. Out of any given moment there are a number of opportunities, one of which will probably be either more exciting than any other or have more of an ability to be acted on. You decided to come to this session today out of all the opportunities available to you—you could have done many other things. Recognize that out of all those opportunities, one may be more exciting than another, and take action on it.

It doesn’t have to be jumping up and down excitement like it’s the best thing that’s ever happened. The idea is that it’s the best thing you can think of doing at that moment. Keep it simple. If it’s not some overarching life-spanning project, it doesn’t have to be.

When we talk about acting on your excitement, we mean out of every opportunity that’s available to you on any level. Just take action on something representative of your excitement. When it brings you to the next crossroads and you can take it no further, take action on the next most exciting thing. That thread will lead you to more and more expansive things, more and more synchronicities will open up to show you what kinds of things can be representative of larger amounts of action and excitement.

Participant: I think from this workshop it’s allowed me to stop being so analytical and just go with the flow.

Bashar: It only seems hard because of belief systems within you that say it is. Find out what those beliefs are, because they’re not absolute truths—they’re just temporary constructions. Deconstruct them.

Group Interaction: Attraction and Repulsion

Participant: We live in a dualistic reality where everything has polarity and turns into its opposite.

Bashar: Everything exists in a polarized potential state. That doesn’t mean the manifestation has to become one or the other.

Participant: When you’re imagining something, aren’t you strongly attracted to that?

Bashar: Sometimes your beliefs will attract you to something that is not representative of your greatest passion because you might actually have a belief that makes you fear being attracted to your greatest passion. You have to have honest self-assessment and discernment to tell the difference as to whether you’re actually experiencing anxiety and calling it excitement, or whether you’re experiencing true excitement. Sometimes you can be attracted to something representative of your anxiety and think it’s excitement, because what you would really be excited about is just too scary to imagine. People will move away from what is actually most true for them until they get a handle on what belief they have attached to it that makes it seem so scary.

Participant: I’m going to Africa to meditate along the nilotic meridian at sacred sites to open up energy for that continent.

Bashar: When will you take some action in that direction?

Participant: Research about the different sites, talking to people and making connections, discussing ways to make the trip manifest.

Bashar: Is that methodology not necessarily representative of your highest passion, or is some other way more representative?

Participant: I’m having a hard time—if I really get into it, it includes other people, extraterrestrials. How does that affect them?

Bashar: It affects them how they choose to be affected by it. Why are you worried about it? How is that taking you out of the present moment?

Participant: I guess also, is fantasy taking you out of the present moment?

Bashar: It depends on how you relate to it. The idea is to have the vision but to not insist that the way you’re having the vision is the way it must manifest. It’s a template, a resonance template to put you in the proper state to tell the higher mind that you’re committed to that state of being. Then let the higher mind show you how it’s actually best to manifest.

Use the rubber band analogy. When you pull the rubber band back, you are building up energy, building up energy, building up energy. You are creating that picture in all the ways you deem most representative of your excitement. Once you have created it, the rubber band is pulled back as far as it can possibly go. How is the rubber band going to accomplish anything if you don’t let it go? You have to release the energy you have potentialized in that vision. You have to let it go and let it fly. The higher mind is the one that catches it and shoots it back to you in the way that is most representative of the true manifestation that serves you.

That’s the job of the physical mind—but once you let that go, your job is done. Move on to the next most exciting thing you can do.

Participant: There’s a sense I get in my body that something has been manifested even though I don’t see it in physical reality. My guides tell me “that’s done, go on to the next thing.”

Bashar: That’s how it works. These things are set up so that by the time the whole thing manifests, you have gone through a process that will allow you to utilize the end result in the best possible way with the highest amount of appreciation.

Group Interaction: Spontaneity and Lures

Participant: I’ve been acting more spontaneously on my joy and passion. My life has become very spontaneous—a week from now I don’t know what my life is going to be like. I registered for a four-year program, then two weeks later I wasn’t excited about it anymore and withdrew.

Bashar: That’s why we say the things that excite you the most don’t necessarily have to come to fruition. Many of you will simply create something to excite you just to get you to move in the direction you need to move in. It acts as a carrot just to get you off the stick. Some of the things that excite you are not necessary to come to fruition—they just excite you to get you to move, because that’s what’s important at that point.

If you use it this way, you are using it in the constructive manner that leads you to your next level of excitement, as opposed to people who might do that in a negative context and seem undecided and flighty. But if you understand the mechanism and use it consciously, you are going about it in the way that will actually lead you to the next most exciting thing.

Participant: My mom reached a breaking point—she’s freaked out by my spontaneity. Two days ago, a new thing came into my life and I said I have to go to Switzerland on Friday. She said I cannot go on Friday.

Bashar: Begin to become sensitized to the fact that there’s a difference in vibration between something that excites you as a lure and something that excites you because it’s manifest. Once you can clearly discern the difference, you can transmit that information differently to others. Instead of saying “I’m going to Switzerland Friday,” you can say “I recognize I’m getting a vision that shows itself to me in the form of going to Switzerland on Friday. Doesn’t mean I’ll do that, but I’m getting the vision, the energy, the excitement, the message, the download in that language. I recognize it as a lure, so let me explore how it wants me to move without necessarily having to actually go to Switzerland.”

Practice telling the difference. That way, when you communicate it to others, you can give them an accurate assessment of what it really represents. It might be more helpful for you to be able to tell the difference as well.

Group Interaction: Relationship Transition

Participant: Since our last meeting, I’ve been given many opportunities to accelerate. Someone came back into my life who is very significant to me—my soulmate. Reuniting brought up old issues, and we explored those together. I became aware of thought processes that don’t serve me. My relationship with the person I’m currently with is ending.

Bashar: You want to be able to end it in a way that you both walk away feeling you’ve gained something and feel mutual respect. You can present it in that context, but you must also allow the other person to decide for themselves how they wish to take it.

Closure for you will come from communicating with the other person in the most positive, constructive, and supportive way possible, expressing a true belief that this change actually serves you both. Whether the other person understands or agrees is not the point of creating closure. They must then take it upon themselves to create the same closure by using the information you deliver in the best possible way you know how. If you’ve done your best, that’s your responsibility fulfilled.

Participant: The purpose of this parting is because I feel I should be alone for some time to get to know myself.

Bashar: Whatever feels appropriate for you at the moment is your truth. It would be wise to act on it if it is an honest assessment of your truth at that moment.

Participant: There are still moments when I feel a connection to this person.

Bashar: You can feel all the connections you want. It depends on how you interpret the connections that determines how you feel. The interpretation comes from your beliefs. If there are feelings that seem out of alignment with what you prefer, examine the beliefs attached to how you are interpreting the connections. It’s not about not feeling connections, but how you feel about the connections is determined by what you believe is going on.

Make sure you are moving towards yourself and not just running away from something. Envision your ideal self and what they would be doing—that’s a powerful tool to help make the right decisions.

Group Interaction: Connecting with a Deceased Mother

Participant: I lost my mother about 20 years ago. For the past three years she’s been in a few of my dreams and I’ve felt her presence. I was wondering what exercises I could do to increase that ability to connect with her.

Bashar: Why do you feel it’s necessary to increase the contact you are having when it’s obvious you are having contact?

Participant: Just because I want more. For comfort.

Bashar: Why do you keep needing repetition of proof?

Participant: Because it feels good.

Bashar: It feels good because you have a belief about it. What’s your belief about why you need more contact? What seems to be missing if you don’t have it?

Knowing she is in spirit, do you believe she has a broader point of view than you might? Do you believe the amount of times she visits you has a purpose, and that more from her perspective would be superfluous? Do you trust the fact that her timing in visiting you is appropriate?

Participant: Yes.

Bashar: Then is it sufficient?

Participant: Yes.

Bashar: Do you believe that if and when there is absolutely a need for her to contact you, she always will?

Participant: Yes.

Bashar: So why ask for more than what you’ve been getting? What do you feel is lacking within yourself that you feel you need from her? What kind of reassurance and reaffirmations are you seeking that you think she gives you but in fact you have to give yourself?

She may be holding back more visitations because you might be in need of giving yourself something instead of relying on her. The paradox may be that when you finally give yourself what you are seeking from her, she may actually be more capable of visiting you more often because you no longer need her to.

Participant: I guess more love.

Bashar: Why are you not giving yourself as much love as you deserve?

Participant: My ego, my state of lack.

Bashar: Why do you make it up? How does it serve you to make up a sensation of lack? You are creating an abundance of lack. Can you create an abundance of something else instead of lack?

Participant: I can create an abundance of love for myself.

Bashar: Are you willing to do this? Do you believe you deserve it? Is anything stopping you from bringing that in?

Now, if you’re not giving yourself the support, why would you attract a reflection of others to support you? Apply this to your music as well. If you’re creating a sensation of lack, you cannot be surprised that the support you’re seeking with regard to your passion won’t be there if you’re not giving it to yourself energetically first. Love yourself and support yourself energetically, and then you can see opportunities come in and people come in that will reflect the support for your passion.

Group Interaction: The Bursting Sensation

Participant: I have this feeling in my chest and my heart is pounding. This feeling of creativity and flow—I recognize it as manifestation. I feel like I’m going to burst. How do I sustain that?

Bashar: You need to switch from DC to alternating current—on, off, on, off. Because it does, it travels farther than direct current. Sometimes the rest is necessary for the acceleration. Without rest, there is no acceleration. There is only a steady stream with no variance.

Procrastination is a different thing than an automatic resting point. You were in procrastination prior to coming here.

Participant: I recognized that came from avoidance of being who I truly am.

Bashar: You are no longer avoiding that. That may be some of the bursting sensation. Once you unleash your energy, it may strain at the dam for a bit until you regulate the flow. That’s to be expected if you’re holding on to something for a long time and finally release it.

Group Interaction: Filmmaker and Writer

Participant: I’m a filmmaker and writer. Is there a process you might recommend to prepare oneself for the creative process?

Bashar: What methodology has come into your imagination that seems most attractive?

Participant: I used to calm my mind and get external distractions out, but I’m lacking a process altogether.

Bashar: What if you don’t need one? Is that within the realm of your belief system—that you don’t need a process to be creative, you can just spontaneously be creative?

Participant: My creativity is somewhat sporadic because I have to fit it into the rest of my life.

Bashar: So you’re not allowing your passion to actually be the organizing principle. You are attempting to cram it into a box that doesn’t fit. Why should you be surprised that it’s not functioning very well? Are you willing to relax the box a little bit, loosen up the structure and schedule to allow for more spontaneity?

Is there a particular location you are highly attracted to?

Participant: The ocean, the beach.

Bashar: Going there more often might inspire you, loosen the box. Take some walks along the beach more often and see what happens.

Participant: I have a distinct pattern in my love life.

Bashar: The recognition of the pattern is the end of it. If you keep doing the same thing, it’s not a pattern—it’s a choice. Why would you keep choosing to do the same thing you say you don’t want to do? Ask yourself what the alternative is. What would you rather choose? Then use your fear in a constructive way by saying, “If I actually did choose what I say I would prefer, what’s the worst possible thing I’m afraid might happen?” That will reveal what negative fear you may have attached to the thing you say you prefer that you’re not choosing.

Participant: The scariest thing about choosing the relationship I want is that I might find it and then lose it.

Bashar: Now find out why you have a belief that the most likely outcome would be that you would lose it.

Future Predictions and Energy Reading

Bashar: We will discuss a few different things under the idea of our title today: “Today is Yesterday’s Tomorrow.” All time is one—it is all here and now.

What regards the concept you call the future is nevertheless existing in the present. There is no such thing as a prediction of the future. There is only the sensing of the energy that exists at the present time. The prediction is made that what is being sensed is the present energy. If that energy does not change in any significant way, then what has been sensed is representative of that which will unfold and manifest. If however the energy does change—which is sometimes changed by the prediction itself—then the energy may take a different course and something different will occur.

All predictions are of the present energy. Empirically, fundamentally, there really is no such thing as the future, just as there is no such thing as the past. Everything is simultaneously coexistent. You cannot actually prove the existence of either the future or the past.

Participant: But we have evidence from the past.

Bashar: And exactly where is that evidence? Here in the present. That’s the only place it exists. What you call the past is simply another dimension, a different frequency, a different wavelength of experience that exists right now alongside your own present. There may be a cross-connection of continuity being made to make it appear as if there is a linear connection from past to present to future, but that continuity illusion is being created from the present always.

When you say “here is evidence of the past,” what you are saying is you have created a linkage, a bridge, a connection to a simultaneously concurrent reality in such a linear spacetime manner as to create the illusion of cause and effect because it serves a purpose for you to experience the idea of the process of creation from a beginning to an ending.

That is why it is also easy to cross-connect to other lives—they all exist now.

There is only one moment: it is now. Everything happens in the now. Everything that appears to be a different moment is actually a different perspective of the same now—a different point of view, a different angle, a different picture, a different photograph.

Economic and Political Shifts

Bashar: As we read the energy now, many things are changing, many things are shifting. You have begun to experience the breakdown of some of your economic systems. You have begun to experience some shifting in your political worlds. This will continue.

The idea is not to change the old systems but to have new systems in place ready to go when the old systems fall apart. That will be part and parcel of taking action in the new world, in the new way—creating that vibration that is representative of the reality you wish to take yourself to.

As it stands in this moment, what you are doing with your economic structure may carry you for about five years. Then there will be another collapse. But at that time, in five years, there will be other systems that can rapidly replace what has been washed away. Do not fear. Never approach these things with fear, for that will determine what reality you experience.

An event is not an event until you have responded to it. It’s not so much exactly what happens but how you respond to it that makes it the event you will experience. Respond well to all these things and they will serve you well in the new reality. Respond negatively and that’s the reality you will remain in.

In five years you will see the opportunity to reinvent some very fundamental economic principles on your planet that will begin to take you toward an understanding of the true worth and value of individual members of a society, which will ultimately lead to an economy based on the actual skill and talents of individuals—which will be, in that context, uncorruptible.

Educational and Contact Predictions

Bashar: Between now and then, there may be a few interesting surprises. There will be an increase in the awareness of the existence of extraterrestrial societies, beginning around your year of 2015. There will be more knowledge that such things exist, expanding ultimately to your year of 2033, when there will be open contact that will have occurred between your civilization and the first civilization to make open contact—the Shalona, who in their own language are called the Yel.

You will see more of their ships here and there, becoming more blatant, allowing you the opportunity to respond in a manner that lets your society know you are ready for such open communion with other civilizations. This will be based on the idea that you’re ready and willing for open contact among your own civilization, among yourselves.

Politically, you will find over the course of the same three decades many new changes. Somewhere after your year of 2025 but before 2033, it is quite likely there will be formed for the first time a North American Union, similar to what the European Union is attempting to do but slightly different. More and more of these conglomerate unions will appear around your planet until such time as after 2033 they can be linked and unitized, which ultimately will lead to a Global organization that will be of service that benefits humanity.

Opportunities for sightings will increase. More downloads will occur that contact is imminent. The literalness of sightings may or may not occur in your upcoming next couple of days and also again in February.

Channeling Timeline

Bashar: The original agreement made within the oversoul of which the channel and I are aspects was that there would be a delivery of information for no less than nine years. We are now approaching a time in what you call two years that will represent three times the original agreed-upon amount. Once it reaches its 27th year, it will then take a different form for the next three years thereafter, until your year of 2013.

To no society to whom we have channeled does any channeling in one form last more than the length of an Essassanian lifetime. But because our dimension is 10 times faster than yours, our lifespan of 300 years translates into your reality as 30 years.

When the 30th year occurs in 2013, there will be a transition of how this information is delivered. There will be a transition in the 27th year, a difference in the last three years until the 30th year, and after that a complete transformation of how this information is delivered. It will go hand in hand with many of the changes upcoming and represent many of the new systems required for implementation in educational systems on your world.

Group Interaction: Downloads and Synchronicity

Participant: Last night during the channeling, the lights kept flickering and I felt a string being pulled from my third eye. What was going on?

Bashar: We were talking about the pineal gland, which you euphemistically refer to as the third eye. There was more activation of that energy center. When that energy center is highly activated, it expands one’s ability to perceive into other dimensions. Doing so also expands the electromagnetic field around the body. It can, until stabilized, be a little bit erratic and may cause feedback loops in existing electromagnetic systems in your immediate proximity.

Participant: Later that night, I had incarnational experiences. I felt like I was called “Ion.”

Bashar: It was a template of a future incarnation—the template being shown to you, the frequencies thereof to match in order to move forward toward that vibration.

Participant: How can I put that into action?

Bashar: Spend more time in the non-physical planes or meditate on that. How does your imagination wish to put it into action?

Participant: Through creativity.

Bashar: Then do so.

Ion is a being of spontaneity, of spontaneous creation, highly technological in the sense of being strongly connected to electromagnetic fields and their instantaneous manipulation.

Participant: What about Tve?

Bashar: This one pulls you to the future and one grounds you to the Earth, so that you have a complete circuit and won’t short-circuit yourself.

Participant: My friend and I have the same bracelet, same shoes, crystal necklaces.

Bashar: Synchronicity—you are operating on similar wavelengths and therefore reflect that through similar expressions.

Group Interaction: Raising Money Creatively

Participant: I’m a writer and film producer. I’m uncomfortable with raising money. I’ve never been required to do this by myself before, and I don’t have in-depth training in finances.

Bashar: Why is this not a creative aspect? Maybe you are simply defining it in a way that doesn’t serve you. It is a creative aspect of the project as well. Why not go about it more creatively?

You need to redefine the whole concept of your relationship to money, raising it, your ability to do so, and see it as part and parcel of the creativity of making the film. It is not a separate issue. The verve, creativity, imagination, and inspiration you use for writing and filmmaking must also be applied to this in the same way. They cannot be seen as any different.

Go forward with the idea of raising money with joy. “Oh boy, I get to raise money for this! Now I get to attract it synchronistically, effortlessly, joyfully!” Allow yourself to not make this a separate issue by redefining it in a more holistic way.

In your imagination, can you imagine one unusual way you might go about attracting this money? What springs to mind when you allow your imagination to run free?

Participant: Approach someone in a group I know that has hundreds of members interested in this kind of thing.

Bashar: Through your passion about the project, inspire them to join with you in co-creating it. Take action on that. Don’t bring expectation into it—just allow it to be what it is. The more passionate you are about it for its own sake, rather than because you need something from someone, the more enticing you will make it seem to others who also want to play.

Group Interaction: History and Time

Participant: I’m having trouble understanding the idea of history and chronological time with everything occurring simultaneously. 16th century London had costumes a particular way, and we have the same city in this year.

Bashar: You don’t have the same city. That’s where you’re getting confused. It’s not the same reality. It’s just a different version.

Participant: What is memory for those of us who have memory?

Bashar: Memory is created in the present. Memory does not come from the past—it’s created in the present. Memory is simply a cross-linking, a cross-connecting to another reality that you then put into a linear spacetime framework for your convenience of continuity.

Use the film strip analogy. One frame at a time, one after another, appears to be continuous motion from beginning to end. But if you’re the projectionist, you can hold the film strip and see all the frames at the same time. Just because you experience the beginning through the projector and the ending through the projector and all the things in sequence when it runs through the projector, when you don’t run it through the projector but just hold it in your hands, you can see all the frames at the same time and can look at them in any order you want.

Reality is exactly like that. 16th century London is a frame on a piece of film. 21st century London is a frame somewhere on that film strip. They both exist at the same time. If you look at them through the projector, you will see historical continuity and progression. If you just look at them simultaneously, you’ll see both frames at the same time.

Group Interaction: Passion and Financial Reality

Participant: I started taking action on my passion and things started to fall into place. But next month I don’t know how to pay the rent because I’m not making enough money. Should I quit my classes and become a waitress?

Bashar: You must always honor your belief system. You don’t just jump off a cliff if you believe it requires a certain kind of lifestyle to be supported. Honor those beliefs and don’t allow yourself to leave them behind before you are actually ready to believe that your passion can support you.

Do the passion things at whatever rate you are comfortable allowing yourself to do them, while at the same time acting on the beliefs that may still exist. If you still believe you need them, hold on to them for as long as you believe you need them, and take action on them until such time as you believe you no longer need to be supported.

You can demonstrate this to yourself by matters of degree. Whatever time you do have while you’re supporting yourself through your old beliefs, whatever free time you have to act on your passion, act on it bit by bit. If you allow your passion to grow, it will show you that it can support you more and more. When you tip the scales and cross the threshold where your passion is supporting you more than the old beliefs, then you can begin to let the old beliefs go, knowing from your own experience that your passion can support you.

It does you no good to dump your old beliefs and act on your passion only if you don’t believe your passion can support you—because what that means is you actually haven’t dumped your old belief.

Participant: How about accepting that new belief system and really believing my passion can support me in some way, though I don’t know how?

Bashar: You don’t have to know how. All you need to do is act on your passion to the best of your ability in whatever time your belief system allows you to do so. Eventually, if you’re open to it, your passion will synchronistically show that it can begin to support you.

When you feel fear, that means there’s a belief you need to look at—a perfect opportunity to examine what that belief is, identify it, make it transparent, see clearly what it’s doing and why you don’t need it anymore, then let it go and replace it with a new belief. Your reality will change to whatever degree is representative of what degree that belief was in charge of.

Remember, you’re just a 100% being. If you only make room for 5% of empty space for something new to come in, then the things that represent your passion will only be able to support you to that degree. The more space you make for them, the more they will fill that space and support you to that percentage.

Group Interaction: Free Energy Device

Participant: I’ve been working on a device—a cone with a spiral coil—based on what you described. I just received it and wrapped the coil. How does this thing work?

Bashar: It is in some degree the essence of what you call a capacitor and a transformer. Once you initiate a certain kind of electrical current through it, you allow it to become vibrationally sensitive to higher frequency energies, which are harmonically attracted to it and begin coursing along the same route. This sets up a self-reinforcing vibration that can be amplified, transformed, stepped down, and used for various kinds of energy that you can tap for your devices.

Participant: So I need to kickstart it with an AC pulse, and then it’ll start resonating?

Bashar: Yes, and it will in a sense drive itself, from which you can then start tapping energy off of it.

Participant: What is the higher frequency energy from?

Bashar: From what have been euphemistically referred to as the template level reality, or what sometimes is called the astral plane.

Group Interaction: Essassani and Contact

Participant: About when Bashar channels, is it non-corporeal energy?

Bashar: I am not completely non-corporeal. We have a type of physicality, though we are evolving from the physical to the non-physical in our transition, even as humans on Earth are going from a lower physical to a higher physical. We are leaving that higher physical realm and crossing into non-physicality, but we are still somewhat physical, just of a higher frequency.

This is a telepathic contact between myself and the channel. The word Bashar means “messenger” in Arabic. Essassani is the ancient name of my world.

Participant: Who will we have open contact with?

Bashar: The beings with whom humans on Earth will have open contact publicly will be another hybrid species, a combination of human and other DNA. In our ancient language we call them the Shalona, which means “those who come first.” In their own language they call themselves the Yel.

Participant: What do they resonate at?

Bashar: Our frequency would be a C with D overtones. Theirs would be a C with F overtones.

Group Interaction: UFO Sighting

Participant: In 1986, I was at a Skywatch and witnessed a huge UFO mothership with red running lights. They flashed their lights at us twice. Who were they?

Bashar: It was a combination of beings—some gray, some hybrid, some Pleiadian, some Sirian.

Participant: I originally thought it was the Ashtar Command.

Bashar: The Ashtar Command idea is an Earth interpretation of a higher level consciousness, interpreted as if it is an extraterrestrial civilization, which it is not.

Participant: Is the book “Rachel’s Eyes” about hybrids true?

Bashar: There are concepts within it that are accurately represented, but some of it is also an analogy or metaphor.

Participant: How do I handle obligations versus guilt? I’m being fragmented—everyone wants a piece of me, and I don’t have a piece of me.

Bashar: When will you spend time with yourself? When will you piece yourself back together? If you are not allowed to be who you are, you can’t help anyone else anyway. When you are who you are and follow your passion to the best of your ability, everything will organize itself to the degree that you will understand what degree of responsibility to others is required. Beyond that, it will not be your responsibility. Anything beyond that that they are telling you is their issue, not your issue.

Group Interaction: Crystal Bowls and Healing

Participant: My partner and I play crystal singing bowls. How can we use crystal music to help people open?

Bashar: Certain frequencies put you completely into neutral. When immersed in certain vibrations from those bowls, you can’t think of a thing. When you are in that state of neutrality, it is much easier to gauge which way you would prefer to go and begin to move in that direction. It is an unlocking mechanism—very powerful—that will actually be utilized in the future for medicinal and psychological healing.

Participant: What about past uses of crystal, like in Atlantis?

Bashar: Be mindful that everyone always has a choice. Do this to help support out of unconditional love and allowance, not as an issue of negative ego or self-aggrandizement. That will help you avoid what the Atlanteans fell prey to.

Participant: I have a crystal ball. Can you tell me anything about it?

Bashar: If you immerse it in water and put vibrations from the bowls through the water, you can turn that into a neutralizing master crystal. When slept with above the crown chakra, it will act as a doorway to other dimensions and enhance the production of dimethyl tryptamine in the pineal gland.

Participant: What do Essassani find exciting?

Bashar: What you’re doing now—helping other civilizations. We only do what we find exciting, and this qualifies. We have recently encountered a civilization called the Reflectorum who have recognized that the event horizon of a black hole contains the pattern of all knowledge in the universe. They have a technological means of tapping the event horizon to download anything they wish. If you neutralize yourself and think of that idea, you can allow initial contact on a Consciousness level. They are more than willing to allow you to tap into that device.

Conclusion

Bashar: We must at this timing extend to each and every one of you our deep appreciation. Of all the things to come, they also all exist now, and you have access to them all. Today is yesterday’s tomorrow. It’s all the same—it’s all one, it’s all here, it’s all now.

By acting on the downloads you get, moving in the direction of becoming more and more the state of being and the vibration that you know to be true for your natural self, and just being in that state for its own sake—for its own sake, for its own sake—then all the walls, all the barriers, and all the borders dissolve. Everything can come through that needs to come through to let you know you are upheld, supported, and carried forward in the arms of your higher mind and all that is.
