Break

Overcoming the Illusion of Time

Attendee: I had a realization that about my dream I’d had the the morning before. I I had uh I’ve been dreaming that it was Saturday morning and I had this whole day to doeth as I pleased. And I was going to go to the good earth and eat breakfast and read for a while. And then my alarm went off at 5:30. Remind me this was a work day. I thought that was just interesting. But what I realized was the job I had last year. I was working about 6 hours a day. I had a lot of time actually. And uh but I was so aberated on the subject of time. I wouldn’t even ride my bike to work cuz it took an extra 10 minutes. I had computer programs and every one of them took too long. I was just going nuts on the subject of time. All right. And uh so recently I’ve had a job working 7 to 7 and driving over the hill 40 minutes each way. And I realized from the dream that I really I don’t I’m not hung up on this time anymore. I got all the time in the world.
