The Academy of Sages

In the Republic of Plato, Socrates explains his concept of Guardians.

These are strong warriors who are also philosophers. This is taken from the Spartans who known for their military skill as well as wisdom.

Technically, this combines the Thinking and Warrior Classes.

We can call them sages to emphasize the requirement of wisdom which we defined as an intellect that is in line with the dharma of the causes and effects in question.

Sages are the detectors of the abstract and subtle phenomena. They can process what they detected and also implement them in the real world.

This means that they have 3 competencies:

These will be taught in an Academy which we call the Academy of the Sages.

This is the same as the Institute of Applied Metaphysics (IAM) pushed for by the Sassani:

There will be basically 2 mandates for The Institute of Applied Metaphysics. Number one will be to explore all of the ancient metaphysical ideas and extract from them knowledge that can actually be applied in a variety of disciplines on your planet in very practical ways to expand your level of understanding—technology, medicine, and what have you.

The second mandate is to provide the idea of general knowledge itself and explore and experience the expansion of yourselves through a variety of learning techniques and access to a variety of archives of knowledge.
