The Law of Attraction

1 min read

We classify The Law of Attraction as Karma Yoga, as a modern version. This is different from Christianity which is based on the Bible.

The Law of Attraction teaches that what you think, intend, and actively pursue shapes your reality, and that purposeful, aligned action is the bridge between desire and manifestation.

The Law of Attraction: Intention in Motion

The Law of Attraction rests on an action foundation: consciousness shapes experience, and clear desire is the starting point of creation.

It teaches that your thoughts, beliefs, and feelings broadcast a signal that draws matching experiences to you—but it also emphasizes that you must act on what you desire. Inspired action is not optional; it is how you cooperate with the universe to bring potential into form.

This mirrors Karma Yoga in three key ways:

  • Desire clarified and elevated: Karma Yoga asks you to purify your desires and align them with what is true and good. The Law of Attraction teaches the same: focus on what you truly want—not what you fear—and raise your vibration to match it.
  • Action as partnership: You do not simply wait and hope. You take steps, seize opportunities, and move toward your goal. In Karma Yoga this is action as worship; in the Law of Attraction it is inspired action as co‑creation.
  • Detachment from the “how”: You act with purpose, but you do not obsess over exactly how results will arrive. You trust that your aligned effort, combined with universal order, will unfold the right outcome at the right time.

The Shared Heart

Both teach that you are a conscious creator, and your life is the fruit of your actions and intentions. Karma Yoga says: act with love and surrender the result. The Law of Attraction says: intend clearly, act joyfully, and allow the universe to deliver. When you pursue your desires with focus, integrity, and openness—without grasping or forcing—your effort becomes a spiritual practice, and your life becomes the masterpiece you help create.
