I just finished reading the autobiography of my soulmate, Francis Farmer, and it’s a wonderful book.

The information, the inspiration, and the feeling that was generated by connecting with that particular aspect of yourself—what does that information actually now allow you to do in this life? How can you apply it in a variety of ways?

She reacted with a great deal of anger. She became vituperative at the least suggestion of abuse.
Asker
Oh, vituperative?
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right. Psychologically abused. This allows me to do so much from my point of view now. The most important thing it allows me to do is to possess that experience as a finished experience, a reconciled experience.
Asker
Reconciled.

She came out in the end very wonderfully. She found a close friend. Her faith in life and in love was fully restored at the very end, even though her life had been in many senses very, very, very bitter and dark. Also, I feel because I now possess that consciousness more and more fully and a resolved consciousness, that I can be an extension of her desire as it exists in the non-physical, and that is to extend the hand of friendship and of love to other people—women and men who may have been abused and who are consequently experiencing themselves as very isolated.
Asker
Oh, we thank you for that.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, yes, and thank you for the many interactions that have brought me to this fuller understanding of who I am.
Asker
All right, and again for your willingness to continue to participate in them. Is there something else?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, coincidentally with the reading of the autobiography, which I recommend to anyone interested in exploring the condition of women in very negative situations—coincidentally with this, I had a very tender relationship with an old friend.
Asker
You’re really an old friend? Julia?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Oh yes, yes. I felt an immediate affinity and affection for her, and we had a very fine time, though very brief, together—clarifying things, exchanging perspectives, and so forth. And she is perhaps the first example of a woman to whom I extended myself out of the consciousness of myself as Theodore and Francis, and who knows who else—yourself, others, and a more multiple context. Who knows really?
Asker
I should, I guess?
Asker
Elan
Elan
No.
Asker
Should I guess? All right. Thank you, thanks for that. Correct, and we thank you. Can you tell me perhaps something about my trap with Julia—my past experience, future for that matter?
Asker
Elan
Elan
The most relevant idea to, shall we say, this particular reunion will have to do with a life with which you are physically married in the imagery that comes along, shall we say, with this exploration. Is what you would label colonial America. For now, that will do.
Asker
Well, thank you, thank you very much. And to you, Shing, what is a soulmate again?
Asker
Elan
Elan
It can be as subtle as any individual that you are in contact with in any given moment, for in that moment you are sharing your experience, you are sharing your reality with another aspect of yourself. So therefore, there is moment to moment, second to second soulmates. Generally, when people speak of this overall concept, they are referring to the idea of particular individuals with whom you choose over a consecutive period of timing to reincarnate. Now, very often this will be in differing styles of relationships, but again, in general, that is what individuals will mean. You can say in that way that there are individuals who tend to hang around, if you will, from life to life, and you can call them, so to speak, a soul family. But in a sense, you can say they are only bubbles within the overall bubble of your entire civilization. Anyone that you come in contact with is your soulmate for the moment that you are interacting with them. Was there something specific you are seeking?
Asker
Yes. I’m sitting with two people, Bill and Kate, Bill’s daughter, and I know that Bill and I have had a past life together, more than one. We have only discussed one.
Asker
Elan
Elan
But do understand that anybody that you have a strong affinity to, being that you’ve lived thousands—not just a few thousands—of lives, will generally have lived many, many lives with you. The reason there only seems to be a few is there are so many differing experiences that they simply have little relevance to this experience. So the ones that you will experience as bleeding through into this life only will do so if there is a specific relevance to what you are exploring right here, right now.
Asker
Can I ask about a specific one with Kate, if you are willing to participate in the process?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, I’m willing.
Asker
I had a dream where Bill was standing by a wall with the light. The light got brighter and brighter and brighter and shot across the room and filled up my being. Kate was sitting in a chair beside me in a smaller chair—this is the dream. When the light entered my body and filled me up, I slid off the chair onto the floor on my knees and put my arms around Kate’s waist and said, filled with this incredible love energy for her, “Ellen, oh Ellen.” And it was like, well, it was the most wonderful loving exchange. And then the light began to move in me and I said in the dream, “Wait a minute, what is this? What is going on?” And I woke up. It was an incredibly vivid, vivid dream.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Our particular understanding will be that you have, with at least the name reiterated in a sense, another life, and that was her name in that life. Is there some feeling or attraction that you have again to have you participate, rather than simply handing it over to you, as to what period in your historical past when thinking of her and perhaps substituting that name stands out?
Asker
I haven’t tried to get at it. I just felt like it might be a past life connection. I certainly felt as if she were my daughter. She was sitting in a smaller chair—I mean, if symbology has anything to do with it in a dream, I don’t know. I don’t get any sense.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, you have gotten quite a bit. So simply begin to allow yourself again in your own space to extrapolate upon it. Trust the mother-daughter feeling—that is a very distinct, discrete feeling. You are feeling it for a reason. And again, a bit ahead or, shall we say, aside from most individuals’ experiences, you have also been provided a name, so you can utilize that name as a meditative tool to tune you into that frequency.
Asker
You mean now? Do it now?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Or later, whenever.
Asker
Well, all right, I’ll let it go for now. Thank you.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And to you, Shing.
Asker
Greetings, and to you as well. I am experiencing a new set of circumstances.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, how exciting!
Asker
Yes, for the first time in my adult life, I find that my—I’ll call it automatic income—for the time being at least, my automatic income that comes in each month is enough to keep my nose above water from a financial viewpoint.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Nice touch.
Asker
So this allows me to truly follow only moment by moment, follow only my excitement.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And what have you found?
Asker
Well, it’s very relaxing and I feel good about it, but I do have some friends of guilt working on me once in a while.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right. Well, in those moments, why do you choose to not fully love and validate yourself? What is the nature of when you will invalidate yourself to that degree? For guilt is the total absence of self-love and self-worth.
Asker
Well, it gets back to our conditioning and our Protestant work ethic. All my life I’ve been the person bringing in the bacon, making money, helping other people, self-respect from a society standpoint that I’m employed.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Okay, yes, but are you not still providing these functions, though with a slightly different definition? You are still being of assistance to others, you are still interacting with others, you are still at least bringing home, as you have said, your own bacon. Well, therefore, as again you say in your slang, what’s the problem?
Asker
Well, moment by moment, actually, the activities I find myself in following my excitement is, one way or another, in rather small ways, helping other people, serving other people, because that’s what I enjoy doing.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And therefore, being in your own element, you are of more use to them. So where does the guilt come in? What are you thinking? What do you feel when that particular emotion comes into play?
Asker
Well, my lady friend, my love if you will, is an RN working long hours, and she’s working very hard and her health is somewhat deteriorating, and I’m just sitting around relaxing, enjoying life.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And that is her choice, and that is your choice. Well, let me broaden this into another point, if I may.
Asker
Please do. As I think Bashar is well aware of, and I believe you are being blended into that background, my number one, by far, most exciting priority choice is to get actively involved into the water fuel cell energy project that I’m out in Ohio. And in spite of my creative efforts, I finally—I’ll face the fact, if you will—that in the current moment, that choice is not available to me.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right. So you’ve got to follow other excitement. This does not mean that you need change your overall intention, but simply you can utilize as feedback whether or not a particular thing that does excite you can be acted upon in that moment. So following what excites you from what is available need not exclude you still having the clear intention that the other thing excites you, but simply do not fixate or obsess upon it. And what will actually occur is the moment to moment following of the excitement will lead you into a different frame of reference whereby that will be one of the possibilities, should that remain your excitement. So this does not mean you need compromise what excites you—simply keep it as a clear intention and understand that the situation obviously allows you to focus in on other things to get you there.
Asker
Well, as I look at other possible ways to—and they may be entirely unrelated to that—but as I look at other situations or opportunities, whatever, so far I really haven’t found any that rates even number two.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, but from whatever is interesting to you. All right, but we are simply speaking of, in any given moment, from what is available, what excites you the most from those choices—not comparing those choices to any other set of choices that is not obtainable in that moment. So it matters not if the degree of what’s available of your excitement is as great as the overall excitement thing, but simply that you do establish from what is available which one moves you the most. And you need not again put a stopper in that it must excite you as much as the thing that you cannot do right now.
Asker
Well, what you’re describing really is what I’ve been doing. Is there any clue or approximate timing, or can you give me any reassurance that in a reasonable length of time—a year or a few months or whatever—that number one excitement will start to materialize? Can you give me any?
Asker
Elan
Elan
There is no time frame upon it, for there are many variables which will work out or play out, shall we say, before we can make such a designation. But the idea is this gives you the opportunity to begin to hone in where you focus your attention. And even in the way that you are posing the question, you are suggesting that you are simply placating yourself in each and every moment, waiting for that exciting thing, rather than fully diving in to each moment choosing with your excitement. And again, if there is something you cannot act upon, not keep it out on the table constantly reaffirming that it is not happening, it is not happening. The attention that you place upon what you label to be your most exciting thing generally takes this form—rather than “it is happening, it is happening,” the attention upon it is the reaffirmation of the fact that it is not occurring. And this actually, in and of itself, perpetuates it continuing to not occur. When it is in a given moment one of the choices that is, when it will be. Obviously, the timing for now again: dive into what is available, not use it to distract yourself from what you’d prefer to be doing that you cannot act upon. Do you at least understand that distinction?
Asker
Yes, I think I do. What is exciting me moment by moment—
Asker
Elan
Elan
You are placing values upon things that something is better than another. The most exciting thing is better than what’s available to you right now. Now, that is simply a definition. If you label it that way, then you will have that experience, that each experience in the moment that you are choosing from your excitement pales in comparison to your overall excitement. But that is because you are labeling it rather than allowing yourself to dive into what is right there and use the excitement and move and act with that excitement on those things.
Asker
Okay, but if I can make a point here, that what’s exciting me moment by moment is not in any way of a nature that is sustaining me in my effort in that direction.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, and we have mentioned that it may very well seem to have nothing to do with the most exciting thing. But because you keep that most exciting thing as an intention, when an opportunity does come into the space, so to speak, you will then have all the tools you need to immediately act upon it. And you will find that some of those tools will have come to you and been acquired by you through some of the other exciting things entirely unrelated—with certain skills, certain knowledge, certain resources. This is the type of trust we are speaking of: trusting in what excites you in the moment, that even if it seems not to be related to that thing, that it is somehow. And whether that somehow simply be that it makes you aware of certain ideas that when that exciting thing comes along, you will not have been able to have enjoyed it fully without those ideas—can be that subtle.
Asker
Well, I have made my intentions very well and clearly known, so now I guess I’ll just concentrate on the moment, the moment excitement, and trust in the universe.
Asker
Elan
Elan
When you find yourself reaffirming that that thing is not happening, it is not happening, it is not happening—this is what the universe hears. This is what the universe understands that you believe. Therefore, you can actually be pushing it off into the future by again, when you identify with the concept, identifying it from the negative perspective as opposed to just keeping it as “my intention.”
Asker
Right, you’re distinguishing between “that’s my intention” and “incidentally, my intention didn’t happen yesterday.” You’re saying when you say it that way, then the universe constantly hears you saying “my intentions do not manifest,” and that’s what you get.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Okay.
Asker
Well, I’ll have to play with that. Thank you, sir. So the question is, can I do something toward that excitement? If I can, yes, I will do it. I will take the positive steps. If I cannot, what can I act upon? And from those choices, which excites me? Simply proceeding in that way will keep you quite busy.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Okay, well, it has so far.
Asker
Thank you. I’ll stay on that track. Thank you, and we thank you.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Oh, the last time we met in this location, I talked to you of my father who has Parkinson’s disease. And in the last three or four weeks—well, last four to six weeks—he was participating in a program through a university involving Sinemet, which is a drug that’s used to treat Parkinson’s patients. And he’s gotten, I think in my opinion and I think in his experience, considerably worse. Just last week, he was in a crisis. He was in a panic emotionally and psychologically, and his body was very nonfunctional. He was standing almost bent over, only able to shuffle. You found it very difficult to move. And at that time, I found that I was moved emotionally, I guess through anger, and I got real focused on who I am and who I’m not in the matter, you know. And at that time, I told him that I love him and respect him and will do whatever I can to assist him, but if he chooses to put himself under the care of other doctors, then he’s going to have to rely upon them for their guidance. If he chooses to be my patient, he’s going to have to comply with my parameters just like any of my other patients. I encouraged him to get off of the medication, the Sinemet, which he has done, and is experiencing considerable improvement in my opinion. And I’m also encouraging him to get off the Xanax, which is a tranquilizer, and the Benadryl, which is an antihistamine that has some type of dubious benefit for some Parkinson’s patients. In essence, I’m encouraging him to be free of all external substances and all outside cures for either his perceived problems or his real problems, and take responsibility for responding to what comes up in his life moment by moment. I encouraged him today—as he walked out to the kitchen, he was standing almost erect, and I commented on how much straighter he was standing and how widely spaced his steps were. And he commented in return, “Yes, but by this afternoon I’ll be bent over and shuffling.”
Elan
Elan
All right. He’s writing the rules, right? And you mentioned to him that he’s programming the future. He says, “No, I’m not. I’m just stating the past.”
Asker
All right. Same thing. He’s so used to programming himself according to his limitations that he’s not noticing when he’s actually forecasting the future as opposed to reporting on the past.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, in a sense, you are both correct. He was utilizing the past to forecast the future.
Asker
Yes. What I’m asking you for—because he is going to hear this tape—what I’m asking you for right now is to speak to him directly, if you could, and encourage him in his moment by moment exploration of the symbols that he’s created. Because I sincerely think he wants to be well, and I sincerely think that while he does not know how to go about it, he does want to learn from his creations. He does want to expand and experience life more fully than he ever has before.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right. Have you shared what we have already discussed?
Asker
Yes.
Asker
Elan
Elan
What was the response to that? For understand, in effect, what we will do is simply render, perhaps in slightly different terminology, the same idea. That being that that particular symbol in this particular instance is symbolic of an individual’s hesitation to act decisively and to act according to who they define themselves to be. So again, putting this quite colloquially, quite simply, what would behoove him to transform this symbol—in addition to continuing to look at how the symbol has served him also, rather than how it has hampered him—would be to again ground himself into the moment. In any given moment, establish what is available. If one of the things that is available is not possible because of his physical condition, rule that out. That is not one of the things that is available. But continuously enable yourself to get a clear view of what is immediately available and choose with your integrity the one that excites you and move. And simply continuing to do this will create a momentum, will create a lack of hesitation. A lack of hesitancy will create a purposeful intention, and that purposeful intention will replace the hesitated intention. Going for it, hesitating, going for it, hesitating is not a smooth, continuous action. Simply establishing your excitement, establishing what moves you from what you can do, and decisively—to whatever degree you are able, to whatever degree you are able—act upon it. This will begin to prime the pump, so to speak, and have the overall effect of reversing the hesitation. It is as simple as that. That is as concise as we can state it.
Asker
And how important is it to him to focus on what is working as opposed to focusing on what is not or has not worked?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, again, as important as he wishes to transform it. Whatever he focuses his consciousness on and reaffirms, the universe hears. If he reaffirms his limitations, the universe hears this and wishes, upon hearing it, to continue to supply what a person believes they deserve. So therefore, also allow him to observe his own deservability. Does he feel he deserves to get better? If so, go right ahead, do the things we are sharing. If not, that gives him the opportunity to look at why he would believe he doesn’t deserve it. But again, what you have suggested—affirming the positive, affirming the progress—then the universe hears that, and then the universe provides more of that same mechanism.
Asker
I think you would like to hear from you that this is not just a palliative psychological process, but rather a mechanism or process through which he can actually transform the symbols that he has created and experience the level of health and the level of activity that he chooses to have in his life.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, understand, it is not that cut and dry. For an individual who defines it as such, it will simply be a palliative psychological process. So therefore, yes, that’s one of the ways to look at it. But it can also be physics rather than just philosophy. It can also be mechanically a sound way to do it. It is up to him, and it will always be up to him, for all individuals always only create through what they already perceive their reality to be. The good news is that they can begin to consciously pay attention to what they are perceiving, and if they do not wish to continue to perceive particular things in a particular way, they can transform it. But it will always be up to him. If he defines “palliative psychological process,” then that is the effect he will get. If he defines “this is the physical, mechanical way with which I will transform what I have already created according to preference,” then he will get that effect. It is both. So he does have within his grasp the possibility of transforming his reality such that he experiences perfect health.
Asker
The 100% palliative?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes. Thank you, and to you.
Asker
Question following up on Tony’s. Hello, good evening.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And to you, greetings.
Asker
Talking a lot of what I perceive coming through has to do with our perception of deservability. I’m wondering if there wasn’t a mass consciousness agreement to explore limitation on this planet—to believe that we do not deserve it all, that we do not deserve abundance. Was that a pre-agreed upon?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Perhaps you can say it became a mass conscious tendency.
Asker
Okay, but was not, shall we say, necessarily a conscious on a higher self agreement?
Asker
Elan
Elan
But once the tendency exists, individuals can plug into it to just experience that. So overall, you can say perhaps recognizing the tendency allows you to make an agreement with the tendency and experience it as an agreement as well. Did that translate?
Asker
Yes, thank you. And to you, thank you. Is there something else?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, a whole lot of things. But the next thing to follow that up with is where Richard and I—Richard is with us but not physically in this room—are exploring language very carefully. And one of the instances that we keep coming up against is “higher self” and “expanded consciousness.” Would you define those two terms for me, please?
Asker
All right. Meaning, understand that from our perspective, what you would call your higher self or oversoul will be representative of your total self, your expanded, your 100% being that in a sense knows it all, has experienced it all, is infinite, is multi-dimensional, experiences the simultaneity of the many existences, and at the same time perceives itself as a single entity. When speaking of expansion of consciousness, we are simply referring to consciousness in and of itself. Perhaps you can say is the ultimate expansion. But there are levels of focus or concentration within your overall higher self, expanded consciousness, that you can choose to partake of. Focus, in general, will be the idea of pinpointing down a particular set of beliefs or parameters at the exclusion of all else, so that you can fully experience the one reality without having, shall we say, the busyness of all the other realities, and be able to truly dive into and experience that reality from the perspective of a focused self. The consciousness of the higher self would seem to be more expanded, but simply again, expanded meaning less focused, different orientation—not better or higher as better, higher vibration, but not higher as better, lower as worse. Does that help?
Asker
Asker
Yes, it does.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Been?
Asker
I want to share an experience that we do beyond language.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right. Right, exactly.
Asker
A friend of ours brought to us yesterday this experience called ear coning. And it’s a piece of linen dipped in beeswax with herbs, and it’s rolled, and you light one end of this cone. And as the smoke comes down to the small end, you put the small end into the ear canal and allow for the excretion of the ear wax and the draining of the sinuses. Richard, where does it drain to? It drains into the comb. It is reabsorbed into—because of the heat and the configuration of the smoke and the air, the Eustachian tube—the ear wax and the sinus drainage is forced back up towards the heat, the vacuum of the heat power. Okay. I explained this to Andrew, and Richard is not feeling well this moment, and he says that what he feels is waves of nausea. Now, as a nurse, to me this is one of the symptoms of Meniere’s syndrome, and I’m thinking, okay, what is Richard doing with this?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Now, from our perspective, perhaps you can say physically there is some of this idea of the upsetting of the inner ear. But perhaps you are asking more metaphysically speaking. And do understand that as you all expand into more of yourself, you allow things to bubble up to the surface from a self-created inner closet, so to speak. This particular style of catharsis with this individual will be representative of an acceleration. However, the form of this acceleration perhaps can be interpreted somewhat negatively at first, for they are deep core issues that have not been addressed. And coming out at this, quote unquote, “advanced state” may be the hardest ones to face. So therefore, this is the timing for this acceleration with that individual, and it will be up to him to decide whether or not he wishes at this point to confront, address, and perhaps transform some of these ideas. But it will also always be his alternative, his choice, to stick them back in the closet—although then they will not go away and will come up again.
Asker
Is the process of the smoke and the herbs and the odor and all of that—the crackling of the fire, he said was very—he had a number of visualizations about the rites, the rituals, the initiations, how long it took, where it was done, how it was done, the colors of the cones that were used at the time, the sound of the crackling of the fire. For me, as a Jovian arc signature vibration more than one time, really, is not one that I prefer.
Asker
Elan
Elan
In his particular instance, there was a strong identification with what you label past life as Native American Indian, Hi tribe.
Asker
He did that too. Thank you. What—how is this helpful, for lack of a better term, the general public?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Because it will depend. Like to share with people that we interact with—again, there will be many individuals who will not attract that symbol and it will not have that positive effect upon them. But you can trust that the ones you are excited to interact with in this way that are also excited as well will benefit in some way.
Asker
Okay, so the crackling of the fire itself is not a major—
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, it will be to the individuals who that particular aspect comes to their attention, but not necessarily universally.
Asker
Okay, that was one of my questions. The other question about this is Andrew asked when I explained it to him: is this one of the great mysteries that was taught in the, quote unquote, “mystery schools,” that this really is a way for lymph system drainage and chakra balancing and electromagnetic field expansion?
Asker
Elan
Elan
We are not immediately aware of that particular connection. And again, refer you back to the Native American Indian reference. Now, this does not mean that it did not occur, but it is not to our awareness. Thank you, and to you all for the moment. Oh, do feel free to share again.
Asker
Thank you. Good evening.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And to you, good evening.
Asker
My name is Bill H. We know we’ve met, and I’m here this evening with my daughter Kate and her friend Lizzy.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Welcome.
Asker
They’re both 11 years old, and I’m wondering if it would be possible for you to tell them if they have had a past life, and if so, tell them a little bit about their past lives. Names again, please.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, my daughter’s name is Kate and her friend’s name is Liz Lewis. All right, allow us a moment. Our strongest, most recent sensing would be what you label time period World War II, place England, friends, childhood friends remaining in touch through most of life. Again, that will be a starting place.
Asker
In other words, they knew each other in—
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, they also knew both of you, but that’s another story.
Asker
Were we related in any way?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Not directly, though aware of each other in that life. For now, that will suffice. And to you, is there anything else?
Asker
I guess I would like to—do you have any questions about this life, being that this is the life you are now choosing to lead?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Can I just ask you something about my past life?
Asker
You can ask through audio. She told me that I lived during World War II, but that I was a German woman who, I guess, was a spy in England. Can you tell me a little bit perhaps about myself in my past life?
Asker
Elan
Elan
What we will share is that your original intention to be a spy in this way got, as you would call it, a slight monkey wrench slipped into your works upon meeting her, who was a him. So therefore, your allegiances were a bit, shall we say, multifold.
Asker
Did I stay on in England after she died?
Asker
Elan
Elan
You died shortly thereafter. But no, we sense you did return to Germany first. That is all we are getting now. What are you getting?
Asker
Yes, I have always had some affinity to German things, and maybe this is where they came from as my past life. But there was, shall we say, a particular distastefulness for some particular viewpoints as well.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And that is why you were, in that sense, beginning to consider other ways.
Asker
Sure, that would probably be correct. Oh, all right. Then it is so. Anything that you girls would like?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Not right now.
Asker
All right, should it occur to you, please share. Thank you very much, and to you.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Sharing. He recently—I’m working in the office with patients, balancing the electromagnetic fields around the body, and I’m doing it in a way that I’m not making a big show of it. But in resistant cases where there’s been areas of pain that have not responded to conventional treatment, I said, “Well, we’ve done what we can do. Let’s do some magic.” And I just put my hand either side of the body, and what I sense—once I sense their energy envelope, I sense a pulsing in my palms.
Asker
Very good.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And I’m pretty much making up the rules as I go along, because I noticed at first on the patients that I work with that the pulses are not happening simultaneously in each hand. So what I do is I wait until the pulses are identical in each hand.
Asker
Very creative.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And at that time, I sense it’s complete, and I say, “It’s fine. How do you feel now?” And I was very surprised when the patient said, “Much better, thank you.”
Asker
Why would you be so surprised? Perhaps that means you did not believe it yourself?
Asker
Elan
Elan
And luckily, they believed it more. Well, yes. Well, this particular patient had been working with him for a year subsequent to a car accident. And whenever I would adjust, I said, “How’s your neck?” “Fine, much better.” “How’s your low back?” “Fine, much better.” “How’s the right upper dorsal region?” “It stinks. It’s terrible. It’s not changing.” This is what I got every time. So when he says it’s much better, I got very excited, and I started using, playing with this with other patients as well.
Asker
All right. May we make a suggestion?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, please.
Asker
For a particularly tough case, as you define them, utilize in addition to the balancing of the pulses—which is a very creative symbology for balancing frequency of the electromagnetic field of the body itself—if you wish to allow yourself to synchronize their frequency with the frequency of your Earth, the symbol, the visualization that will enable you to, as you have said, envelope them with a particular style of calling Earth energy, will be to utilize the vision of a blue-white light in addition to what you’re already doing. Thank you very much, and to you. That will be representative of the electromagnetic frequency of your planet itself, and thereby not only align them to themselves, but to, shall we say, the planet that they chose to be upon.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And I wanted to make a request that you or any associates that you think would be willing and helpful instruct me in exploring and mastering these more subtle ways of assisting people in achieving the health goals that they choose.
Asker
All right, then our stream of consciousness is now available for this purpose, and it will simply be up to you to validate it when you get it. But we are bequeathing it to you in this way. Thank you.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And I found when I was raising the question that I was reluctant to say “assist me in healing.”
Asker
Insist assisted you in creating again an atmosphere round and about a particular individual that allows them to heal themselves, but perhaps still using you as an excuse.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, I’ve been exploring these ideas. I’ve come to entertain the thought very seriously that no one heals anyone. Everyone creates their own disease. They create their own reality. And that all I can do is create a context within which they can create the type of reality they say they prefer, where they allow themselves to heal.
Asker
Yes, yes. Another thing that I’m exploring and questioning is I’ve got this idea as a chiropractor that certain cases require a certain amount of care at a certain frequency over a certain period.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Then you will create that effect. And perhaps even in your own technique, in a sense, sabotage yourself to play out to that expectation.
Asker
Exactly. It came up in the context of a problem that I had myself. I woke up one morning and I could not move my head to the right without excruciating pain, and the associated tension was creating a fog through which I had to function. And I was thinking, “Now, this is a symbol that I created, and it’s here to serve me. How can it serve me exactly the way it is?” And I got into the idea of exploring ideas of being flexible, knowing my direction, being able to take responsibility for direction, remaining aligned. And I came up with the idea of, “Okay, you know, I’m exploring this, and now I’m willing to allow this to transform.” And I realized, what can I do right now to correct this situation, to bring my neck back into a normal state of feeling good and feeling free? And I realized that I wanted that now. I didn’t want to process. I didn’t want it to take all day. I didn’t want it to take several days. I certainly didn’t want it to take three times a week for 8 to 12 weeks. And it came up that if I want that type of instantaneous results in my life, perhaps I should take a look at this idea I have relative to my patients as to what it takes to correct their conditions. Perhaps. And at that time, I stated that I was willing to allow that there is no process necessary, that their healing of themselves can be an instantaneous process. And then in fact, not only does it not require more than one visit, it doesn’t really require any visit. They can do this themselves. And what then happened—I realized that my integrity was on the line, that my integrity actually was on the line. The thought came up, “Well, that’s going to drop the bottom out of the practice.” To which I immediately responded, “Are you kidding? They’ll be lined up around the block, and I’ll be meeting all these new people. It’ll be absolutely exciting.” What began at that time along is the process of taking a look at what’s real for me in the whole area of not only my practice and my professional activities, but in every aspect of my life. I mean, moment by moment being in my excitement, really alert to the possibilities of the moment.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And what happened to your neck?
Asker
Oh, my neck got real—got fine.
Asker
Elan
Elan
You mean to tell me this stuff works? How fascinating.
Asker
It did. It did take almost three days.
Asker
Elan
Elan
So you do have still some belief about the time aspect.
Asker
Yes, it was much more comfortable right off the bat as soon as I had this idea that it doesn’t take any time.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Oh, right.
Asker
But it did take a couple more days to resolve altogether. And I understand the reason for that as well. It gave me an opportunity to allow other people to assist me. I had one of the ladies in my office adjust my neck, if you will, and I learned a little bit more about mechanics, about spinal mechanics. And it also changed the way I approach cervical problems in patients.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Oh, that will be very often one of the main reasons that what you label your doctors will choose illnesses from time to time—to be able to identify more strongly with what a person is going through and perhaps utilize that as an incentive to assist them faster rather than more economically.
Asker
Yes. Let me ask a question.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Do ask.
Asker
I got the image—I’ll make a statement first. I got the image of walking into the office just walking around going, “Okay, you’re fine. You’re fine. You’re fine. You’re adjusted.” And that was very exciting.
Asker
Elan
Elan
There will be some degree of individuals who will participate as an audience with that. And then again, others who will perhaps need a slightly more physical demonstration to enable them to validate enough of a change to heal themselves.
Asker
That was the question. Is it not?
Asker
Elan
Elan
It has to—the individual himself has to be open to be able to receive this type of symbol, this type of love. As Jan would say, though not necessarily always consciously open, but at least unconsciously open.
Asker
Yes. Okay, and can I ask—lately I’ve been working with several—well, over the past month I’ve worked with several people adjusting very specific subluxations without using hands, without using manipulative techniques, by what I call concept induction.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right.
Asker
I point out to them in a way that they can understand that yes, there is a problem with this vertebrae and that vertebrae. And then say, “Fine, you’re adjusted.” And then when we do a post-check, the original demonstrated aspects of the subluxation are in fact gone.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Do understand the reason that this works is because individuals are not held out of place by their spine. They, shall we say, perpetuate their own misalignments. Misalignments are active, not passive. This is a misunderstanding. They hold themselves out of alignment, not that the misalignments hold them out of alignment. So when you say “you’re adjusted,” they go “fine,” they buy that. And if they do, then they allow themselves to let go, to let go of the hold of their own misaligning. So in fact, you’re not practicing any type of psychokinesis. Rather, you can call it that—you’re allowing them to give themselves permission to allow the bone to move where they choose it to be, or allow that area representing misalignment in whatever way it does to realign. Need not necessarily be physical bone misalignment.
Asker
Well, more specifically, when I adjust manually, I’m literally manually moving the bone. Now, they may or may not accept it in the new position, and they may cause it to rebound. But I’m actually manually moving it. When I say “you’re adjusted,” am I actually doing anything?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Our particular perspective and understanding of the biomechanical nature of what you label to be your spine would be to tell you that more precisely, you are restoring its proper motion more than taking something static, moving it from a misplaced area back to another area. For that is assigning static designations to a dynamic structure.
Asker
Point taken. When I do it verbally, though, like “you’re adjusted,” am I actually putting anything in motion?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Or can be. Depends on the individual. Depends if what they are holding out of alignment is physically lack of motion or again nervous system. Is moving objects with our mind, or what we call psychokinesis, is that available to me right now?
Asker
To some degree. But that is again, at least at this initial stage, not exactly what is occurring. It is possible.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes. Well, may not be what is occurring now, but is it available to me?
Asker
Yes.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Because I find myself from time to time feeling like I can move things.
Asker
Just begin to look more at the reasons why you believe you cannot, rather than the reasons that you believe that you can. That will give you, shall we say, the beliefs to transform. Thank you very much. Very simple. Is that all? That’s all for now. Thank you, and to you.
Asker
Elan
Elan
We have heard from you and Bashar that on your planet Essassani, your civilization, that the average lifespan might be about 300 years approximately, according to your timeline. Okay, when someone is born in your civilization, to what extent do they need educated, and how is that accomplished? In schools or what?
Asker
It is accomplished in the doing of life. It is accomplished in the synchronistic understanding that you always attract what you need, and what will enable you. Perhaps you can say the need enables you to do what it is you need to do in that moment. Now, by age three in our society, individuals generally have mostly all that they will need to begin to do the exciting things and allow themselves to generate it in this way. But it is life’s experience that is the classroom. Perhaps you can say there are no formal schools, nor is there the herding, so to speak, of children away from the adult population. Though children will very often choose to interact with each other, there is no hesitation upon the part of any adult that finds themselves attracted into an area or atmosphere with any particular child. There is no hesitation for that adult to interact with that child as an equal. So all adults are teachers or professors, if you will, of the younger.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, but we also always, always, always understand that we are all always teachers and learners. And we do not minimize the fact that as we are able to perhaps teach in a way—call it teach—particular ideas, that we are also in interacting with that individual and watching them then do these things, also learning as well. So everyone is a teacher, everyone is a learner. The parents, in that sense, are the parents of all. The children are the children of all. That is the overall effect. Let’s say one particular young person decides to follow their excitement in a particular direction, whether it has to do with space travel. Then he will invariably attract himself to individuals who are already doing that. They will not then learn by any cognitive process, but they will simply begin immediately to participate on whatever level they are able, and then they learn again through the actual having of the experience—on the job training.
Asker
Okay. If I could open this up and allow and give the opportunity to Kate and her friend, if they wanted to ask anything about learning or schools or degrees in his civilization—do they have PhDs or no?
Asker
Elan
Elan
No, various. I have never attended what you would label a class, but I have always attracted myself to whatever individuals that would enable me, so to speak. Even this is an analogy and does not exist as precisely as we are saying it, but an apprenticeship, so to speak.
Asker
But if you live 300 years, is it typical to change directions during those 300 years and follow one excitement, then switch over to another?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Most common. But will again depend on the definition of the explorations and the time spans necessary to complete those explorations. Certain explorations may take tens, 20s to hundreds of years. Others just a few. So it will depend on the specifics. There is a general overall interest from most members of our society in the idea of space travel and exploration. But there are even individuals who are less inclined toward this and more, shall we say, literally grounded.
Asker
Could you share with us a little bit about your own interest, starting let’s say when first born, and how old are you now? How did you get to—
Asker
Elan
Elan
Most early on in my own life, I was involved very actively in what you would call swimming. That was one of my joys, one of my discoveries, as well as art and music. This was, shall we say, the concentration of what you would call my earlier life. It was somewhat recently—approximately 30 to 50 of your years ago, again this is arbitrary within our time frame—that I became, shall we say, interested in the idea of communicating with other species, other civilizations, and space travel. So therefore, then attracted myself to particular individuals, one of them the individual that you have designated as Bashar, and thereby enabled by that particular interaction to begin to learn, shall we say, the ins and outs of communicating in this way. My particular age, by your years of counting—not to confuse the matters—would be approximately 133 of your years.
Asker
Where are you right now? Are you in the neighborhood?
Asker
Elan
Elan
No, we are around our own planet. And since Tony hasn’t asked yet, who is “we” at this point? Myself and one other individual, a female, in your scout craft, a cap. Do you have any question?
Asker
I have a question. Are your jobs or occupations—are they like ours or not?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Really, for we do not do the same thing every day. Because every individual, when they realize something is very exciting to them, immediately does it. A very interesting thing occurs: everything gets done. There is always somebody excited about doing something that right at that time needs to get done. Because we’ve always functioned this way, grow up functioning this way, have always only known how to do whatever excites us in any given moment, and trust that whoever needs to be there is there, whatever needs to be there is there. That is what we create. So therefore, everything always gets done, but very many times by different individuals, for that is then the timing for them to be excited about doing those things. So no, we do not have jobs per se. We do not have money, for everybody realizes that the services of all individuals, no matter what, are equal. Therefore, there is an equal exchange. Individuals simply realize if somebody comes to them needing a service, that they have attracted that person. Render the service to that person because they know they have attracted it. And then usually wind up being attracted back to that person, and that person can then do something for them—though it doesn’t always need to be that direct. So no, we do not have jobs. But again, everything gets done and everybody always functions and has a lot of fun.
Asker
So can you think about it—what keeps you from getting too fat or too skinny?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Simply balance. First of all, again, we remind you that as you are beginning to progress into fourth density from third, we are progressing from fourth density, which is physical, to fifth density, non-physical, and are beginning to rely less and less upon symbols. So for instance, getting fat, we simply do not eat any longer, and there is not that idea within us. Again, we have discussed many of the symbologies of the gaining of weight—waiting around and not doing things. And simply, nobody ever does this. We are constantly busy.
Asker
That’s the end of my questions. Thank you very much, and we thank you.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Along those lines. Hey, greetings.
Asker
Greetings. The clothes that you wear—do you laundry them, or do they, when they fulfill their usefulness, disintegrate, or what do you do with your clothes?
Asker
Elan
Elan
There was in our history the idea that you would call similar to laundering. But then we developed a particular style of fabric that, shall we say, has a particular vibration. And this is the only translation that we can find that keeps it basically clean.
Asker
Oh, so it doesn’t get dirty in a sense?
Asker
Elan
Elan
No, neat.
Asker
Okay, yes, keeps them neat, yes, tidy. They don’t wear out?
Asker
Elan
Elan
That either? No, not really. If individuals have some reason for wishing to express themselves in a slightly different way, then they will attract to themselves different garments. But this is less of an emphasis in our society by quite a bit than your own.
Asker
One moment. Is that all? That’s it. Thanks, Theodore. Thank you, Elan.
Asker
Elan
Elan
This is a three-sided matter, and if I seem confused, it’s because I am.
Asker
And that’s well. All right, very good. Confusion always allows you, upon taking yourself apart, to refuse them or co-use them back together. Thank you very much. Back momentarily to Francis and the autobiography. Will there ever be a morning?
Asker
Elan
Elan
The answer is yes. There is, in a sense, only morning.
Asker
All right, depends upon what version of that word you are using. Only rebirth.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Oh, right. Begin.
Asker
Thank you. Yes. Number two—reading. Well, no, that’s actually part of number one. All right. One: as I was reading this book time and time again, there were resonances, familiarities. It became clear to me that I really knew this life because I had lived it. In my own life, so many resonances.
Asker
Elan
Elan
You played them out a bit faster in this life.
Asker
Yeah, I moved my family out to the Seattle area, for instance, where she was born and raised. I stayed in Chico, California, and I liked that. I felt very at home there. She had had a home there in childhood. Indianapolis, very familiar to me at any rate. And people as well. But it became more and more apparent to me that really, I was a multiple personality, and that still are—still, yes, I am. And also that this is going on simultaneously, and I am at this moment revising it. It’s always in process, always in revision.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Very good. Now you can use it in this revision, and in recapitulating many of these ideas, again reconcile them within you to the degree that it now allows you to apply them positively in this life.
Asker
Oh, that’s right. That is always the bottom line: how can you use it?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes.
Asker
What—it’s a transforming experience, and I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to have an actual book that I could work with. Oh, aspect two: from a certain point of view, her life was very, very negative. In fact, I passed the book along to my friend, and she opened it up to a particularly horrible page, and she said, “Oh, what a horrible person this was,” and da da da. And so for that surprised me a bit. This was taking it a bit personally.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, this was a judgment. And as I understand, judgment is an exploration of limitation.
Asker
All right. Did you then judge her judgment? Perhaps you can explore that as well.
Asker
Elan
Elan
No, I didn’t.
Asker
Oh, right. Sounded like there was a bit of that in there, though.
Asker
Elan
Elan
I almost did it, but I just became curious.
Asker
Oh, almost. And I wondered what—is it, you know, there’s some people who are really sort of goody-goody?
Asker
Elan
Elan
And—oh, all right. That is not a judgment. The degree to which you are willing to be honest with yourself is the degree to which you will reveal your inner self. Simply proceed.
Asker
Okay. Well, you know, and I can admit I’ve had that feeling myself of being really, really right, goody-goody. And I—
Asker
Elan
Elan
Oh, thank you. Now we are getting somewhere.
Asker
Yes. All right, that’s in me. I’ll acknowledge that. And my—what I can include at least provisionally is that if an individual is wearing that particular mask, so to speak, that there are in all likelihood many, many baddy-baddy lives down the line in the past that this individual is not willing to confront.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Not at the moment.
Asker
All right. But it is not in that sense your job to make them aware of all of them.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yeah, it is their particular reality to choose to interact with that or not.
Asker
Right, right. The exploration of judgment, I think that you know well—the judgment as a form of limitation, this—one of the conditions perhaps most difficult to transform.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, what you have said very nicely is that is one of the conditions. And what we are speaking of, what cuts through all that, what simply immediately transforms all that, is the idea of unconditional love. Unconditional love means being willing to still discern somebody else’s reality, to still discern, to still identify how you stand according to somebody else’s conception, their reality. But now you need not impose the conditions that if what they are exploring is different from who you are, they stink. You can simply understand that is their exploration, that is valid for them, they have the right and the reason to embark on that exploration. It simply has no relevance to you. And that is the only observation that you need make that will enable you to remain self-empowered. And by not invalidating their point of view, you give more strength to your own point of view.
Asker
Yes, rather than focusing undue attention upon a point of view you really and truly do not prefer. And the third side—the whole matter—in part a spin-off of our recent discussion of a past life in which I was a savior. I imagine that I—by the way, yes, the timing of sharing that with you was quite significant in that sense. We felt you could handle it, and you have quite nicely. You have transformed certain tendencies within yourself in this life.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And then was the timing from our perspective, with your allowance, by the way, to share with you this idea so that you could continue to choose to transform it, and not need in that sense to force anybody else’s reality to be anything that it is not. For simply you understand your reality is what is appropriate for you, and their reality is what is appropriate for them.
Asker
Thank you very much. And I should add that, in connection with this, as you know, I recently just stormed out of a dwelling in a Francis-like fury. I was ready to kill a certain—
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, but you did not. And you did not then sabotage.
Asker
No, no. And this is what we are discussing. Yes, I could have sabotaged him a dozen different ways, but I chose not to. Instead, I chose to create for him a very good product so that he—I couldn’t, I’m not going to change him being a tyrant, but at least I can give him something that he can spread throughout the world that will have positive effects.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right. Now do understand the favor that you have done to yourself. For if you had chosen to sabotage him or anybody else, you become the vibration of sabotage. Therefore, you then attract sabotage to yourself. By choosing not to, you become the vibration of integration. Therefore, have a good time. You can expect good things to be attracted as the reflection of that.
Asker
Oh, well, thank you very much. And I already am. I’m making some good connections in Nashville. But the other part, the thought I was holding, was that I’ve lived 10,000 times, and in a third of those times or more, I’ve played out very, very negative scenarios. I would imagine that’s simply part of what Earth game is all about, and there’s no need in a sense for judgment.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Right, no need whatsoever.
Asker
I experience Francis’s life in all its positivity and negativity as a wondrous thing. There’s so much potential in just her book, you know, for enlightenment. I’m appreciative of every life that brought me to this point where everything seems to be really coming together beautifully. And it’s like, like a celestial music.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Then we thank you for your conscious commandment and your willingness to honor your preference with integrity. And thank you back. There, you mention that you live 300 of our years.
Asker
Yes, that is the approximate lifespan upon our planet. And again, we do not choose at this time to create what you call disease, so that will be the relevant or relative span of most individuals.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Personally feel there are so many good things to experience in this life. Somewhat envious of your being able to survive for 300 years.
Asker
Well, all right. Do understand you also contain the possibility, at least, to expand your lifespan to double what it now is. So therefore, rather than being envious and assuming you do not contain it, simply when you are willing to begin to validate the signs your higher self gives you that this is what is most you—again, your excitement being that that is most effortless, being that you have quite a good time doing that, as you say, time flies by. And when you seem to experience less time, you create less time, and therefore you physically age less time. So establishing the vibration of what moves you, establishing your passion, establishing your excitement, and moving on it automatically creates less time. So you can do it too.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Get shaky. I was hoping that you would say just that. I think that—well, thank you. I think that age, at least for us, resides in the mind and spirit and not necessarily in the body, because I’ve seen elderly people be far more dynamic than some young people.
Asker
The body is a reflection of consciousness. And you are, shall we say, spoon-fed the notion in your society that as the body ages, it, shall we say, deteriorates at a rapid pace. This is simply a belief. It is a mass agreed-upon belief at this point. Again, a tendency that perhaps is now in agreement. But the idea is, even by understanding that you have the desire to look at it, you can now plug in the definition that “I can age gracefully.” And again, the body is a result of your consciousness, not the other way around. So by keeping your consciousness in line with your higher self-purpose, you automatically, by fulfilling, shall we say again, your higher purpose, will reflect a more healthy vehicle or body to continue to do so through. Does that make sense?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, it does. It’s wonderful news. Then have a good time. Thank you, Elan. Is that all?
Asker
Yes, all right. Yes, very much. I have sort of a question that has to do with my own personal health. Oh, write a sort of question to proceed. About 15 years ago, I was in Europe studying different languages, and something very upsetting happened in Europe, and I suffered what in medical terms would be termed a nervous breakdown.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right.
Asker
I have been basically off and on the last 12 years on psychotropic drugs, and they have side effects. They cause weight gain, they cause the pulling in my neck, they cause slurring of speech. I’ve been to the best specialists, I’ve been in the best hospitals, and coming here at the center is the first time that anyone has ever told me that I can make it without these artificial chemical attitudes in my system.
Asker
Elan
Elan
If you are clear in what your beliefs are, yes, absolutely.
Asker
What are those beliefs that I have to be clear on?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, in other words, if you truly believe that the medicine, as you call it, helps, or that you must have it, then that is the effect you will get. But you can always look at that belief and decide to choose something else. Allow us to comment about something you shared first. What you label in your society “nervous breakdown” is simply when a person very abruptly changes the definition, for no matter what the reason is, of who they are. Now, very often within the belief system of an individual is the notion that in order to emerge a new you, must first literally kill the old self. And the effect of the seeming dying of the old self and the emergence of the new self—or prior to the emergence of the new self—is sometimes called a nervous breakdown, for it is the breakdown of the personality construct, the artificial personality construct, for it is now no longer as useful to who it is you have become and what you wish to explore. Now, where the difficulty generally arises is not from the process itself, but from the fact that the process is then highly and heavily judged both by the individual undergoing it and also then reinforced by the society who says “everybody knows, for instance, that is antisocial.” That then reinforces the feeling in a person that what they have done, which is actually quite natural, is something that they should regret. Therefore, part of it is the self-judgment for having redefined yourself. Also understand that what you label depression, from our perspective, is simply the opportunity that an individual gives himself in seeing that they create their own reality, and understanding that though there are things external to you, they are all a reflection of something within. Very often, individuals will get to the point where they simply cannot find any answers outside. It just becomes obvious that all answers lie within. An individual then turning within can simply be self-reflective, self-meditative, and learn many things. But again, the same difficulty arises when an individual judges that self-reflection. “Everybody knows that is antisocial.” That is what prolongs the process, makes it seem like the depression lasts very long. Although always when individuals work, play through that and emerge, they always emerge anew with a new spirit and a new strength. What we are simply suggesting is that from this point forward, now that this definition has been introduced to you, you can understand that when you feel you are depressed, you need not judge and can simply understand that you are turning within. If you then get down to the job of allowing yourself to turn within and look at the issues that come up as they come up, it, shall we say, transforms rather quickly, and you emerge anew rather quickly. If you judge it and put yourself down about it and continually berate yourself through the process, you still rediscover, you still redefine, but you add a lot of time. So therefore, you understand from this point forward, should you feel that that you are simply giving yourself the opportunity to look to the only place that you truly ever discover anything anyway—within. And if you are willing to do so without judging it, it will become a constructive process rather than a seeming destructive process. For the emphasis will not be on the you that has, quote unquote, “died” or transformed. It will be on the new emerging you. Therefore, you will not have a sense of loss but a great sense of gain. Does that make sense?
Elan
Elan
Yes. And I feel that when I’m around a group of people that I don’t really know that well, and I’m getting to know them for the first time, I realize that I’ve grown within this 15-year period, or 12 or 13 really.
Asker
Oh, yes. I have grown so incredibly much that I see society as like dictating what you can and cannot do in society. Granted, something like murdering someone is wrong.
Asker
Elan
Elan
And well, it is disintegrative, for sure.
Asker
Disintegrative, yes. But in our society, especially in the Northeast, people are very judgmental in who you are.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, do understand another thing. Judgment is two parts: judgment rendered, but you will only feel an effect if you match the vibration of that judgment and in that sense jump on their bandwagon to judge yourself. If you use that as an opportunity to establish who you are and realize that yes, perhaps they believe this about me, but I know myself to be different than what they are saying, you do not get the effect or the emotion of feeling judged. You simply get the effect of the emotion of disagreeing with another viewpoint, not needing to then go to the extent of invalidating it, saying to yourself, “Well, they have the right to think that, but that is not who I am.” So therefore, when you find yourself feeling judged by others, you only have that feeling because on some level you are buying into and defending against, so to speak, that judgment. Look at that and remind yourself about your unconditional deservability and your constant ability to unconditionally love yourself, which means even if you did agree with them, you love yourself anyway, because there are no conditions on the love for yourself. This is the love that All-That-Is, or what you call God, has for you. So you can always tap into it, for you always are receiving it from All-That-Is. All-That-Is loves you unconditionally, and there is simply nothing that you can do to lose that love. You are a part of All-That-Is, and All-That-Is will always love all its parts. So perhaps you can utilize that information to tap into what sometimes may be perceived to be an overwhelming feeling of unconditional love from All-That-Is, and simply jump on that bandwagon instead. One other comment I’d like to make, and that’s—
Elan
Elan
Was that useful?
Asker
Yes, very. Do proceed. Because at this point, I realize now that I’m 15 years older than I was in college, that I was in a totally different culture, a totally different environment, totally set of different values. And I came with kind of a naive sort of down-by-the-shore-and-Connecticut point of view. And to go and to experience the difference in belief systems that one people have for another—rather, culture—was such a shock that, as my friend AA said, she said at this point your psyche, your body, your mind was just simply saying no. For the first time in your life, you’re going to think of you first.
Asker
Elan
Elan
So, and that is quite positive. But again, thinking of yourself first need not mean at the exclusion of everyone else. Simply making sure that you are taken care of, because when you are, you then have the greater ability to be of service to others. So taking back your power and nurturing your own deservability need not seem selfish to other people. But again, it will enable you to be of more service to them by first being of service to yourself. Yes, now also understand that you are 15 years later, a new vibration. You are a new person. You will now, being the vibration that you are creating yourself to be right now, attract a new crowd. Therefore, mingle. It is no accident that you are with who you are with in any given interaction of this sort. And there are many individuals with whom you can share. Thank you a lot, and to you for the gift of your presence and interaction.
Elan
Elan
I’ve been thinking, as sitting here, about past lives and about struggling through past lives.
Asker
Oh, all right. Struggling?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, actually, I feel like I have in some way struggled most of my life to get to certain points where I want to be, and I don’t feel I’ve ever reached the dynamics of that. But I, for some reason now, I’ve noticed that things seem to be coming together in a way that I’ve never imagined they could. A woman from a local newspaper had put a little release about our TV show that we want to get volunteers to help out for the intergalactic TV network, which is going to be a weekly program. And all of a sudden, the swimming popped up excited from one of the local weekly papers which I had given a release to. And she came over and did a—she was there for about three hours interviewing me about the TV program and about—
Elan
Elan
Well, how exciting. Getting some recognition and beginning again being the vibration you are choosing to be to attract the support crew.
Asker
Yes. And the woman that would have originally been the reporter said she was—she would have been more hard-nosed because she doesn’t have a more open mind about these kinds of things. So it ended up just to my amazement to have this person actually at that timing show up and be the one to do the interview, which I thought was kind of fascinating.
Asker
Elan
Elan
What a coincidence.
Asker
Yes. The other thing is, I feel I might do a lecture on extraterrestrials in the summertime at a bookstore.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Oh, right. I had pondered the thought and wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, and I kept it open. And then I decided with excitement that I would talk about extraterrestrials. And I’m not sure what I’m going to say because obviously I won’t know until I’m there doing it.
Elan
Elan
We will say it will come out just perfect. You will have, so to speak, some help.
Asker
Success is—I was also to know about the past, some of the past lives, or actually not past lives but currently some of the other energies that are not necessarily coming through at this moment beyond yourself, through Andrew, who are listening, who might want to speak about their civilizations at this time.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Not at this time. There will be forthcoming a communication very soon, but not this evening. Well, just say we do thank you for asking.
Asker
I’m just totally relaxed tonight, and I actually at some points was almost falling asleep.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Is all right. You are receiving this on many levels. But I definitely—I’m not sure where I’m going with—there is some other questions that I do have. And there’s a woman I just recently met who lives in South—I haven’t met her personally yet, but through the phone line—who started a place called The Place. And she’s channeling various spirits, and also she has what she calls light trance, which she’s not into deep trance, where she can actually verbally—they can verbally come through on the mental plane through her.
Elan
Elan
We understand.
Asker
She talked about a ship, a mother ship that is in Southbury, when she says above her house, which she says that is an extra-dimensional craft and will be very unlikely to be perceived by other individuals.
Asker
Elan
Elan
I understand that also.
Asker
She’s talked about pods, these pod ships. They have—could you explain what they are?
Asker
Elan
Elan
In a sense, you can understand simply that that craft would not necessarily represent what you generally refer to as a mother craft, though it is a larger vessel. And those what she is labeling pods to be a form of probe.
Asker
Probe, a okay. I believe these probes have actually landed in the area of this property where there’s a large energy vortex. Could you expand on that a little bit?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Again, the area of interest for the probes are simply observation right now. A probe—when we took look at probes, are they similar to what we call our own satellites that NASA puts up without anybody inside?
Asker
The satellite operating a satellite? Perhaps a better analogy would be similar to small submarine-like remote control devices containing a television camera upon them. Are you familiar with this idea?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes, similar to that. But again, there are other vibrational measurements taking place which simply will not translate for you. Do not have the technology.
Asker
Right. There are many, shall we say, of observation that occur. Well, she stirred up a lot of questions in my head when I was talking to her for about 30 minutes. One of the things I was very intrigued was she’s in touch with many various civilizations. One, I think it’s called Uranus.
Asker
Elan
Elan
We understand the reference. Right, but it wouldn’t be on this particular dimensional reality. It is again extra-dimensional and will represent a particular council of beings.
Asker
Yes. Right now the council of beings she talks about are the—I think correct in quoting this—Interplanetary Council or Command. That is one reference to which you can refer to them.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Yes. Okay, and again, they do not exist in your dimension physically.
Asker
Right. So therefore will not be perceived without an extra-dimensional shift. Right. But from her communications with them, obviously it seems they talked about the Southbury-Woodbury area where we live as being a place that in the future will be a place of love, or a love center of some sort. And I wasn’t quite certain because I didn’t stay on the phone long enough to really go along with these questions because they were coming through her talking to me on the phone, and I was a little bit curious about this. They talked about these two towns being a centered area of some energy.
Asker
Elan
Elan
We have discussed before that there is in those areas what you would label electromagnetic vortices.
Asker
Yes, right. But now when they talk about some sort of—I’m just really generalizing here—the concepts of a centered area becoming of people, a place where there would be this love, this love center, or this center of unconditional love. I’m not sure if I’m really—
Asker
Elan
Elan
The idea is that if indeed the center does revolve around unconditional love and not conditional love, there will be perhaps an attraction to that area by many individuals.
Asker
Right. If there is the idea of particular perspectives with built-in judgments, that will as well repel such a mass of people.
Asker
Elan
Elan
I see. So it will depend on how sincerely they are representing the concept of unconditional.
Asker
Very interesting. Well, I’m not sure. I’m just floating along here with questions as they come in my mind.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right. Well, have a good time. Float away. Keep your head above water.
Asker
Oh, my head is way above water. I wanted to go into past lives, and you mentioned I had channeled Serios consciousness. The Serios consciousness that I channeled—were there a name? Was there a name for any particular person or persons of this grouping?
Asker
Elan
Elan
Is the name Chip-Hop?
Asker
Chip-Hop? Yes, that is what we will share for now. Uh-huh. I understand. Uh, Chop. And if I can somehow ask this question in a way that I would have an answer: in what relationship did Chop and I have?
Asker
Elan
Elan
What you might loosely label a form of guide. But again, that even has the implication that there is an inequality. And at least from his perspective, or their perspective, you are equal.
Asker
Right. Is Chop still, uh, alive, shall we say?
Asker
Elan
Elan
The energy is attainable. Right?
Asker
Yes. And does Chop know of my existence and this present Earth?
Asker
Elan
Elan
What do you think?
Asker
Yes. Thank you. That wasn’t a very hard question to answer. They never are. I think that probably should do it for now. All right, and we thank you. Are there any more sharers, Elan?
Asker
Elan
Elan
I’m wondering if you could help me to clarify a recent meditation that I had. Perhaps I was asking about work and how to support myself, and I’ve asked this many times over the past months in meditation. And in this particular one, I am at this time preparing a new way to make a living and a new career and things, as well as trying to get some money yet from my old one. And I saw images in my mind. And one of them was—and I’ve seen this utilized in other, in previous meditations—it was I was on a road. I was near the top of a hill, and the road, it was black and it had a white line down the center, and it went down directly in front of me and then started rising on a far hill. And there were about 15 cars coming toward me, 15, 20 cars driving toward me with their lights on. Can you help me to interpret a symbol like that?
Elan
Elan
In a sense, we initially see two ideas. One will be that upon your rebirth, in a sense, you witnessed the funeral for the old you. The other will be again the reminder that you are not on a path, you are a path, and can never step off of yourself no matter what you do, where you go. That is your path. But you are at the juncture within the path that you are where you are deciding to transform, where you are beginning to validate what moves you and move in that direction. And again, one interpretation, one polarized interpretation of that can be, quote unquote, “the death of the old you.”
Asker
The question that I asked right after that was: maybe I should just stop trying to get work in my old field since I’m not getting very much, and simply devote myself to producing the new one.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Well, there are no “shoulds.” But continuing to do the same thing and expecting a different result perhaps is not that logical. Whereas if you are willing to do a different thing, you can only get a different result. Now, it is a matter of trusting the new result as much as you have trusted the old result. It is not that you had a lack of trust for the new result. It is just that you simply resoundingly placed your trust in the old result. Do you understand? Therefore, you have that trust. You now know where it is you have defined it. You can place it wherever you wish. You always trust in something. Perhaps you can say the trick is to become aware of what you’ve chosen to trust in and consciously re-choose if you do not prefer what you have trusted in. In other words, to water it down to your slang: go for it.
Elan
Elan
When I said that, I immediately saw several images. The first—and I think that there are what you’re just saying—the first was some, several pairs of shorts. They were what we would wear in the summertime, and the top, the one on the top, was purple. And then directly after that, I saw some caps, and they would again be what we would wear in the summer, and they were bright orange and magenta. And then I saw a tennis shoe that was multicolored. And these seemed to all be related to the idea of travel and summer and things.
Asker
Yes, travel, summer. The shoes grounding you, can say perhaps. The hat remaining spiritually inclined. Is there something else?
Asker
Elan
Elan
That’s interesting from that meditation. I would like to ask to follow this up then. I have been putting this off for several months, but I have the idea of writing a place called Power Places Tours to see if I could work for them.
Elan
Elan
Because—well, how creative. If it excites you, do it. If you do not get the expected result, there will at least be some result. And whatever result you get, act upon that. Whatever lead you get, act upon that. The result can be literal. But when we speak to you about following your excitement, something that perhaps we may include more often is that you need not do so with a particular expectation that your excitement must play out in a particular way. It will play out in the way that it needs to to provide you with what will then enable you to do the next thing. So go for that as well.
Asker
I have a belief which I’ve been wrestling with in view of these interactions, and that is if I want to organize tours to sacred sites and provide, thereby providing people experiences and direct experiences with these sites, that I need to have some experience in the tour travel industry and more experience directing or coordinating groups.
Asker
Elan
Elan
Then that is what has led you to this particular new excitement, Power Places Tours. Proceed with that by finding individuals who are already doing what it is you wish to do, and mimicking their vibration, you become that same vibration and get the same result. Therefore, you have attracted to yourself most blatantly a symbol of individuals doing what you already wish to do. Therefore, when interacting with them, do so as an equal. Allow them to know your desires, and if they do not require your services in quite the way that you expect, then inquire from them where perhaps you can then next look. Utilize the whole lot of opportunity, not just one particular narrow expectation.
Asker
I understand. Thank you, and to you. One more sharing back there.
Asker
Elan
Elan
I’m wondering if you have the capability of projecting forward, for instance, in my children’s lives, perhaps my own, what interest they may pursue in the future.
Elan
Elan
For that is not our particular style. For again, there is no one future. There are many probable futures, and you always get to choose. Perhaps turning it a bit around would be to ask them themselves what excites them, what moves them. And then you, being in the position to enable them to move in that direction, can assist them to do so rather than talking them out of their excitement if what excites them is not, quote unquote, “mainstream.” Therefore, by establishing what does very truly excite them the most, you can answer your own question and understand what their tendencies will be. The question is, will you enable them? Will they then enable themselves to begin to act on it in whatever way they can? Is this of assistance?
Asker
Yes. I interrupted my daughter who was about to ask a question.
Asker
Elan
Elan
All right, do proceed.
Asker
I was wondering, do you think I was an Indian in my last life?
Asker
Elan
Elan
The last life? No. But you have been in a past life.
Asker
Yes. And was anyone I know now there with me?
Asker
Elan
Elan
In a sense, you can say at least on some level almost everyone in this room was interacting within that same time frame and were at least meeting each other. But yes, the individuals you are directly with as well.
Asker
She was an Indian in one of her last lives. You can understand that mostly again anybody in the room present was, for that is a particular very attuned exploration. Attunement to your planet, attunement to your nature, and attunement to various aspects and dimensions of All-That-Is. Therefore, many or most individuals that are now partaking in what you label spiritual self-discovery have lived lives in that particular reality where they could get, shall we say, grassroots experience. And to thank you. At this timing, allow us to thank you for, again, each one of you from our perspective is a gift, is a spark of the very white light of All-That-Is itself. Therefore, it is our privilege to interact with you. And we understand that bit by bit, a day at a time, slowly sometimes, quickly, the day is arising whereby we can meet face to face and interact as physical individuals. We thank you for your willingness to even assume on any level that you are equal not only to us but to all levels and forms of consciousness, and bid you a most fond and loving good evening.
Asker
