How Fascinating

All situations, events, ideas, results are fundamentally neutral.

They have no built-in meaning. You provide the meaning. The meaning that you provide determines the effect that you get out.

You create your own reality. This is literally true, 100%.

You create your experience and your interpretation of your reality as well. And therefore, by beginning with the simple notion that all events are fundamentally neutral, you give yourself back the opportunity to begin to choose consciously how to label situations and therefore choose consciously the effect that you will produce from them.

Now, there are, from the perspective of what you consider to be learning upon your planet, certain ideas that are perpetuated in your society and, in a sense, handed down from generation to generation.

You may say and use the terminology upon your planet that these are ideas with which you become ingrained with in your childhood, although you actually, in that sense, choose and cause that very ingrained. You are part of that process as well. But as you grow and as you begin to understand that your reality is distinctly your reality, many of the ideas that you have been taught and have in that way bought into become a bit obsolete, and you begin, in that sense, to formulate the beliefs that serve you, the beliefs that work for you.

Much of this can be facilitated and accelerated by your willingness to at least look at situations initially, when beginning to change according to preference, from a neutral standpoint. The things which were always automatically considered bad are only, in that sense, those societal notions. Now, we understand what can seem negative within certain circumstances and are not saying that certain ideas in and of themselves are not negative, but what we are saying is that the events, the props within your life themselves, are simply a neutral set of prompts, and you can label them any way you choose.

One approach that we will share this evening of your time is the idea of, once you have realized that something that you would formally have labeled negative is neutral, bringing into your thoughts, into your approach, the idea of fascination as well. As you automatically label a particular event negative, you can as well begin to look at what, in that sense, is positive about it. When we say everything is fundamentally neutral, what this means is that each and every fundamentally neutral event contains 100% potentiality for positive, 100% potentiality for negative—therefore, equal doses, if you will, of both—and you can choose either.

Now, the trick, so to speak, is to begin to view the things that you automatically label bad in a different way. It is quite obvious, from again the beliefs you have bought into, what is bad about them. But as we have said, they also contain 100% potentiality for positive. And if you will even begin, on any level that you are willing to say, “I understand what is negative about this, but now I will begin to look at what is positive about it,” you can actually get an entirely different and perhaps opposite-seeming effect from the same neutral set of prompts.

Sometimes it takes a little bit of creativity at first because there is some, again, momentum—seeming momentum—behind your automatism, your automatic assignment of negative meaning. One of the catchphrases that we have shared to allow you to get some sense of what we are saying is: in a situation that you would have formally labeled bad and said, “Why is this happening to me? Poor little old me,” how instead you can ask, “How does this serve me exactly as it is?” And this very simple, very simple—sometimes too simple for some of you who require complexity to validate change—but this very simple approach has a very interesting side effect: you come up with lots of stuff, lots of automatic, immediate reasons that and why that particular situation serves you. And even if you only come up with one, then you have at least gleaned some positivity from the inherently neutral symbol. Neutralizing it is only the first step toward neutralizing the negative effect upon you, but you do not stop at that point; you actually carry it through toward the positive: “How is it serving me?”

The other idea is that any quote-unquote “negative” situation also always allows you to key in on beliefs that you still hold that are limiting you, beliefs that you still hold that perhaps you prefer not to hold. And one of the reasons they seem to hang around is you have not allowed them to become completely conscious. You have kept them what you label subconscious. You create these separations in your consciousness and then tuck them in there, in that sense. But the idea is, if you use all your creations and realize that they are all your creations, you would approach it a bit different. You would begin to look, for instance, in how it serves you, and one way to do so is to determine: “What must I believe in order to even be labeling it negative?” When you nail down that belief, you are now, as you say, in the driver’s seat, for you can only change a belief if you first acknowledge that you even have it. If you only and first will own it, then can you change it, and not until. As long as you continue to deny it because it is a belief you would prefer not to have, you take it out of your grasp to change it.

We have shared many of these ideas quite often but wish in this particular interaction to take it a step further. One of the tools that we have shared when something that seems negative comes up is to say, “Thank you. Thank you for this is now allowing me to key in on beliefs that I still hold which no longer serve me and in fact perhaps seem a bit contradictory to what it is I prefer in life.”

Allow us to extrapolate still further: that you can, if you will, assume the position or the perspective of such. Use the following phrase when something negative comes up: “How fascinating.” And the idea is that this keys you in to the idea of fascination. For one of the qualities that you assign to the children in your society is their ability to glean fascination from everything around them. And although, in that sense, you are grown up, you by no means have lost that aspect of yourself. Very often within your New Age vernacular, you have the notion of the child within, but the idea is that child need not remain within. And the tool, or the faculty, or the inlet that allows you to express the most, shall we say, overwhelming characteristic of that child within is fascination itself. And by even saying, “How fascinating”—not in a patronizing way, though perhaps at first it may seem that way—you gear your mind in a particular way to begin to even enable yourself to see what is fascinating about it. And believe me, if you wish, there is fascination in everything. And if you will even assume that there is, then you will give yourself the opportunity to see it. If you immediately assume that it stinks, you do not give yourself the opportunity to see it and in fact close the very door of opportunity to see it. And then seem to keep getting the same effect every time that particular thing comes around: “Oh, poor me. Why always me? This is always happening to me over and over again.” Well, if you keep reacting to it the same way, how can you expect, realistically, a different effect?

But the first time, the first time that you are willing to look at it from even a slightly different perspective—even neutral versus negative—by definition, you can only get a different effect. If you perpetuate your same approach, your same system of labeling and identification, you will get what seems to be the same effect and what appears to be negative repetition of miserableness. But if you will even give yourself the option to understand that it contains just as much potential for positivity, only then will you even think to look for it. And that is what will allow you to begin to develop the panache, the style with ease, of beginning to label everything, everything, in a positive way.

The things which seem to come around, which seem to be negative, are products of beliefs again that you may hold on an unconscious level. What we are discussing now is being a conscious Creator. And this may mean, because of the way you create cause and effect in your reality, running through, working back through, in a sense, some of the results of your older unconscious beliefs that you do not prefer. And the prime opportunity for fishing out the last, the last of what is left of your negative approach, is using all your creations, and in particular using the ones that you normally would label negative and extraneous. For when you label something extraneous, you are not acting as a Creator; you are saying things slip in there, “Oh dear.” But in that sense, they are your creations. Nothing in existence is extraneous. By definition, if it exists, it exists and is not extraneous. So therefore, by beginning to gear your thinking and saying, “How fascinating, let me now explore with fascination how I have chosen up till now to label these negative scenarios. How fascinating, let me now look at the fact that they are actually neutral. How fascinating, and let me now tip, if you will, the scales toward the positive. And oh my, I can see how it serves me. How fascinating.” You can do this, and it can be quite simple.

Though reality, physical and non-physical, contains richness and complexity, the mechanisms through which you create are very simple. If one of your beliefs is, “It cannot possibly be that simple,” we suggest to look at that, for you cannot change even that till you will first own it.

By way of a slight review: when we speak of creating your reality, we speak of the foundational idea by which you do so of being your beliefs. You may, if you wish, view your persona as a three-sided prism that breaks down the white light of Infinite Creation in a particular individualized way that defines each and every one of you as an individual. The three sides of that prism are beliefs, emotions, and thoughts. According to what you truly believe, you then generate corresponding emotions. According to those emotions, you then correspond a pattern of thought. Because of any particular pattern of thought, you then act a particular way. And in physical reality, at least, it is those actions which are the bottom-line manifestors of the reality that you actually live within. But they always can be traced back to the beliefs, resulting in the emotions, resulting in the thoughts, which then result in those actions. You already automatically do this with your beliefs; this is how you already live.

When you identify a belief that you have that you do not prefer, if you will look at it from the viewpoint of fascination, you will realize that you can define that because you have believed that, you have felt a certain way, had a certain emotion, then thought a certain way, and ultimately acted like a person with that belief. And this is what has created the effect in your life from having that belief.

When you identify the belief that you have and wish to change it, you can work it or play with it a bit backwards in the following way. The tool of your imagination will assist you in this process. If you will simply relax for a moment now, knowing and having defined your old limiting, unpreferred belief, and phrase in some way the new preferred belief, you can use your imagination, if you will, if you wish, to conjure up how you would feel if you truly believe that. That is the first step, because emotions—energy motions—are the activating mechanism in this particular plane of reality. And you will find it quite simple, quite simple, to feel that emotion even only using your imagination of how you would feel if you believe that.

Continuing along these lines with your imagination, picture how a person with the new belief would act. You will find it quite simple to do so. When you have a clear vision of how a person with that belief would act, look at the way you’ve been acting in that situation. You will find quite a difference. You will also find quite a difference in the emotion, for you will find that the emotion you conjure up through your imagination with the new preferred belief will be quite pleasant, whereby the one that you conjured up automatically from the old unpreferred belief perhaps will be less pleasant-seeming. So first of all, compare the two and perhaps see which one you would prefer.

But understanding that your actions create your reality, again, you can work at it backward. And all you need do—or all you can do; you don’t need to do anything; anything is to, using that same imagination and seeing how a person with the new preferred belief would act—copy it, mimic it, act that way instead. It will be quite easy because when you give yourself the advantage of viewing the alternate choice, you will find that the action that the imaginary you took is quite a pleasant action. If you will simply copy that action and do that instead, you will now be acting different in quote-unquote the “same old situation,” and therefore it is quite impossible to get the old effect. You will automatically, the first time you do this, get the new effect, thereby validating that your actions create the experience of your reality, and thereby also showing you that you can change any belief this way by simply conjuring up in your imagination how a person with a preferred belief would act and act that way.

How fascinating. Very simple, very accessible. Don’t need any books, no courses, no levels of awareness. Your willingness to begin to weed out unpreferred, limiting beliefs will automatically expand your awareness. However, it will do so according to preference, and you may, in that sense, live your life according to preference without harming yourself or anyone else. That is how reality is structured. But first, you must allow yourself to know that this is even a possibility, and this is what we are sharing.

Therefore, begin to be fascinated.

Begin with a simple statement of “how fascinating” to set up that attitude and begin to look not at what is bad about it—that is quite obvious—but what is fascinating about it, what is positive about it. And rejoice when something negative comes around, seemingly negative, for it is an opportunity to weed out the last of the limiting beliefs that you have, using what you have formerly considered to be the worst of your reality to afford yourself the greatest, most accelerated growth.

Think about it, but not too hard, for what will make the difference is not all the thinking, all the pondering, all the intellectualizing, but the doing. You can understand everything that we are sharing, but it will, in a sense, have no effect on your reality until you apply it in your actions. For you are already creating the reality you say you do not prefer by applying those beliefs with actions.

You can stop what you consider to be this runaway train by simply taking a few deep breaths when you feel you are about to react, and instead of reacting, you can consciously act.

We find you all quite fascinating, and I mean that only in the highest regard. For from time to time, individuals will ask us what we get out of these interactions.

We are constantly fascinated by all reality, and by interacting with members of your civilization and other civilizations throughout the Multiverse, it allows us to see just how many more ways “All That Is”—which is our label for God, being that it is a bit more descriptive—expresses itself, and this enriches us greatly. We love it.

Therefore, you too can love it if you wish. For your willingness in this way to co-create this style of interaction with us, I thank you most unconditionally and lovingly and ask you now: how may we be of service to you?
