Question (Joe from Japan): I’m Joe from Osaka, Japan. I’d like to ask you about veganism.

I became a vegan about four months ago, and it’s been serving me pretty well. Ultimately it all comes down to this notion that people are expressions of nature, not just isolated individuals within it. I think that living in harmony with other animals is crucial for us to go to the next level. What’s your thought on veganism? Does it have to do with people’s Consciousness? I’m currently trying to spread the idea of veganism throughout Japan, which has become one of my passions.

The Cutout Exercise

Take an illustration of either a hybrid or a gray that is provided for you to download in this transmission. Cut it out, blow it up, and paste it on some stiffer background—cardboard, foam core, or whatever you wish that allows it to be rigid. Blow it up to the point where the head of the image of the gray or the hybrid (from the top of the crown to the bottom of the chin) fills one of your typical 8.5 by 11-inch pages. Allow the rest of the neck and the shoulders to be whatever size they will be by following that measurement.
