Unlimited Possibilities

The Art Of Surrender

So let us discuss this idea. Let us speak and share of this idea now so that everyone may participate.

The idea of course is that we have from many different points of view talked about and you have heard from many different points of view the idea of letting go. What some of you may call surrendering. Many of you have different ways of interpreting this concept.

But you must understand as we have said many times, things are always this and that, not just this or that. And so even in the midst of an act of surrender, there is not really the giving up of who you are, but the true acceptance, the true claiming of who and what you are. And this is the key.

But let us talk about this in the terms in which it occurs in your physical reality and in which it has occurred.

In the incident and event that we have now referred to regarding the apprentice and other people, many times you will find yourself pushing and pushing, struggling and struggling, trying and trying, focusing and focusing and working very hard and very diligently with all of the ideas we have discussed about altering your beliefs, getting in touch with your definitions, and so forth in order to manifest the reality of your preference. And this is all well and good, but we want you to understand something very important.

Perhaps this might even be the most important, the most crucial idea you can allow yourself to grasp.

And that is that all of these concepts are all fine for the purpose of getting in touch with different aspects of your personality for allowing yourself to be clear and gain more consciousness with regard to your beliefs, your personality structure, your consciousness in a physical sense. None of this in that sense is wasted time.

But now you have arrived really at a place and at a time and at a timing in your collective consciousness when in some senses, paradoxically enough, you can forget all about all that. And when I say forget all about all that, in some senses I mean that quite literally.

It is time for you to forget about a lot of things, to give them up, to let them go, to just stop. And in the way that we are now talking about when you do this, you will find automatically in this act which we will describe that you will achieve what your Buddhists have called the idea of the cessation of thinking.

You will find that your actions and your beingness become aligned automatically and you will not have to do anything really to have that happen.

Why Letting Go Works

The idea of surrender and letting go allows miracles to happen because of the following thing.

Each and every one of you, no matter how it is said, put your own interpretive spin on it if you wish, doesn’t matter, but you understand the essence. Each and every one of you is made in the image of the creator.

And that is why letting go works. Because when you stop trying, when you give up, when you let go, when you surrender in a sense to the universe, when you just quiet yourself, calm yourself and tell yourself it is all right to just stop trying. Just let it go. What you call your hopes, your dreams, your desires, your focuses. I must do this. I must make this. I want to be rich. I want to do that. I want to have this. I want to have that.

When you just let go and forget about them and let it be all right to forget about them, you will realize and truly experience in the realization that you are made in the image of the infinite. And what that means is you are yourself the essence of limitless possibilities.

You are all possible things, all possible events, all possible experiences. That is what you are, not what you have, not what you have happened to you. It is what you are. Because All-That-Is is all possible things, all possible events, all possible experiences, all possible ideas, all possible miracles. It is unlimited in that way. It is unconditional in that way.

So when you let go of what you think you are supposed to do and when you stop attempting to manipulate your personality and just forget about it and just be who you are, then you will understand that who you are is unlimited possibilities. And when you allow yourself to simply be unlimited possibilities, the universe will reflect those unlimited possibilities back to you.

That is why letting go works. Because when you let go, you are the true essence of how you were created in the image of the infinite. And your reflection in physical reality thus then will be as unlimited, as miraculous, as synchronistic, as immediate, as spontaneous.

The Practice of Surrender

All you have to do is forget about trying. All you have to do is give up in a sense and relax. Just be and feel who you are and know that who you are is unlimited possibility. Let the universe show you. Let the universe, the infinite, the creator love you. Let it show you who you were created to be by stopping trying to be who you think you ought to be.

Just stop. Just surrender.

You’re not losing control. You are becoming what you are. You are claiming your heritage. You are claiming your birthright. You are claiming your essence, your nature by surrendering. That is what the surrender is. Is a statement of total self-acceptance. Total self-acceptance. Knowing that the self you are accepting, the total self you are accepting is unlimited possibility.

And then you will allow the gift of the unconditional love of the creator to be given to you. And that gift is to show you to show you through your life and all its manifestations the unlimited possibilities the miracle that you are.

Let it happen. Stop trying. Give up. Let go. Surrender. Stop.

The Quiet Mind and Peace

And when you do that, you will find that you stop thinking so much. You will find yourself looking at things and all of a sudden realize that that’s all you’re actually doing. You’re just looking at things. You’re not looking at them and as you say, zoning out and thinking of something. You will be thinking of nothing. You will just be looking at things and appreciating them for what they are. And there’ll be no other thoughts.

You will find yourself at peace. A peace so profound it will be at first perhaps even difficult to believe that you are experiencing it. It will perhaps at first be difficult to believe that you are not having random thoughts. It will at first perhaps be difficult to believe that you are not just looking at something to trance out so that you can think about things. You will not be running things around in your mind.

Your mind will finally be quiet because you will be aligned with who you are. And the thoughts you need to have will be the only thoughts you have.

And your actions and your thoughts in what you call your Taoist and Buddhist terminology will be right action, right thoughts, right will, which means they will be synonymous with your being. And when your actions and your thoughts are synonymous with your beingness, it doesn’t feel like you’re doing anything. But you will act. You will do things but it won’t feel like anything. It will feel like you are just being in life, enjoying life and receiving the love, the unconditional love, the gift of the miracle of All-That-Is.

Acceptance and Self-Love

You will allow yourself to be the miracle that then can be reflected back to you by All-That-Is. For it is always being handed to you. It is only you that have refused to accept it by refusing to accept yourself because you have been taught not to accept yourself.

Accepting yourself is just letting go. It is not a difficult process. It is just stopping trying so hard to figure things out. Stopping trying to think your way through everything.

It is going into a place that is peaceful to you. Be it in a meadow, be it in your own home, be it on your porch, be it while you are driving, be it in the ocean, be it in the air, it doesn’t matter. It is being in that place and letting that place simply release you where you have no cares, no worries, no thoughts for the moral, as you say, no things to work out, nothing. Nothing. Nothing. You let it all go.

The explosion of miracles that will result may stagger and astonish you at first, but I guarantee you they will happen because that will be the reflection of who you finally allow yourself to be.

Just give up. Just let it go. Let it be all right.

Questions

Conversation with the Apprentice

Bashar: In some senses, does that sum up your experience, apprentice, in words?

Apprentice: Yes. And I don’t know how you can share an experience in physical reality other than with words. They must experience it each unto themselves. But these are the words that can urge them to. It doesn’t mean that they will listen. But everyone, as you know, must hear it in their own way for it, as you say, in your language to click and make sense on an experiential, emotional, intuitive level.

Bashar: Right. But that is really the sum of it. When it comes, as you say, right down to it, all it really is is letting go, being yourself, just being.

Apprentice: It’s the words we’ve heard our entire lives, you know, be here now. Let go. Let God today is sufficient unto itself. All of these things, you know, I knew them mentally, but until about a week ago, I never really experienced.

Bashar: And what changed it for you? What made it real for you? Perhaps they would benefit from understanding the personal experience so that they may apply that understanding to each of their own personal lives, even though the same thing may not work for them.

Apprentice: I don’t know how to explain it really. It was during a conversation I had with a man. I was doing a photograph for the cover of his book and he’s coming out with a book called Money…

Bashar: You do not have to go into detail. Simply get to the essence of what you feel was the pivotal point where all of a sudden it became clear.

Apprentice: There was just a letting go of my personality. There was a letting go of me, of not me, my personality.

Bashar: Why were you willing to finally let your personality go? Why?

Apprentice: Because I think I have been doing the same thing over and over and over my entire life, and that’s trying to work through things and figure them out and focus and visualize and do it.

Bashar: Are you saying that this was simply the straw that broke the camel’s back? You finally were sick and tired of being sick and tired?

Apprentice: Yeah, I think so.

Bashar: So, you finally just let it be all right to let go and flow with the stream?

Apprentice: Yeah, I think I was just willing to have it be a better way and I got out of the way for a second and I started seeing that there’s so many more possibilities when you let go of your limited thinking. When you’re on a track and you think this is the way it’s got to be.

Bashar: Why did you see that there were so many more possibilities?

Apprentice: I became because you are unlimited possibility, right? I really felt my God self in that moment and I just became like wow big and full of possibility and it hasn’t closed down yet. I don’t think it ever will.

Bashar: Correct. Unless you choose it to.

Apprentice: Well, I’m not going to do that. It’s too much fun.

Bashar: All right. It is because you finally saw that you, the real you, the essence of you really is unlimited possibilities. And you were willing to finally understand that what you call your personality, beliefs, definitions aside, all well and good is in and of itself by definition a limiting structure upon limitless possibilities.

Apprentice: Yeah.

Bashar: So you were willing to let your personality go because it placed too many limitations on your joy.

Teaching Moment for All

Asker: Are you all hearing this? Let your personality go. It places too many limitations on your joy.

Give up who you think you need to be. Give up who you think you are. Just let it go. Just stop trying. Just be unlimited possibilities. Just forget about it.

Just get to a point. Make a space where you finally just sit down, lie down, stand up, whatever, and just let it be all right to say, “You know what? I give up. That’s it. I give up. I give up. I surrender.”

Just let it go. Don’t think about it. Don’t think about what you have to do the next day. Don’t think about what you have to do the next week. Let go of schedule. Let go of time and space. Let go of this has to be there then or this won’t occur. Let go of all assumptions. Let go of all conditions. Just let it all go and let your personality go with it. Give up your personality.

Good riddance. It has served you. It is not a bad thing but it is now you have come to realize a limited thing and a limited thing is not who you are.

You are unlimited possibility because you are made in the image of the infinite. You are infinite. Let yourself be infinite by just letting yourself be. Just give up.

Second Segment: Knowingness And Reflection

Asker: And you as well. I’ve been meeting people recently who have this behavior that you referred to two weeks ago in the session as knowingness. And I had lunch with one of these gentlemen today whom I’d never met until today in person who seemed to know things ahead of time.

Bashar: What is time before anyone told him? Did you not understand that? That was a rhetorical question.

Asker: Well, why did you answer it? Wow, I knew what you meant.

Bashar: But the reason I asked the question was to get you thinking and to allow you to understand how it is possible to know things ahead of time. It is because there really is no ahead. Everything is here. Everything is now. And when an individual chooses to be themselves, they will be here and now and will know what they need to know regardless of where it may be conveniently placed in a time stream.

The time stream, the structure will not matter to their consciousness. They will be able to know what they need to know regardless of how it fits into a structured linear time reality because all things are here.

Frustration with Seeing Knowingness in Others

Asker: But I’m starting to get a little frustrated that I’m meeting so many of these people.

Bashar: But why would you be frustrated by that?

Asker: Because I don’t seem to be able to be doing the same thing.

Bashar: That’s because you’re not getting the point. It is because you are not allowing the meeting of these people to be a reflection of where you’re at. Instead, you are labeling the meeting of these people as the difference between you and them, instead of understanding that the only reason really you could possibly be meeting people who exhibit such a knowingness and such abilities must mean that you also have those abilities.

But until you start allowing yourself to accept yourself and you continue to label them as somehow different than you or you different than them, you will only experience the difference between you and not the similarity of ability.

Do you understand? This is an opportunity for you to stop defining the differences and start understanding that if you are meeting them that must mean you have the same ability or you wouldn’t be meeting them and to start to take that understanding to heart so it can start exhibiting itself through you as well.

How I just told you you’re not getting it. You’re not getting it.

The Mirror Analogy

Listen again. If you are looking at your reflection in a mirror, you follow me? Is there anything that you need to do in order to become what that reflection is showing you? No. You’re already that person.

So if you were to look in a mirror and you were to see your own reflection and you were to say, “All right, now I see that image in the glass. How do I become that person?” then it is as meaningless a question as the question you have just asked in terms of how do I become like them.

The fact that you are seeing them in your reality means you already are like them. And how you become like them is by realizing you already are like them. And when you start acting like it and accepting that as a fact, you will see that you are like them and start exhibiting the same abilities.

It’s not a how in that sense. The idea that you can see them tells you you have already accomplished it if you will only believe that that is so and act like you know it.

Did you follow that?

Asker: Yeah. Yeah. And I really thank you.

Bashar: Does that help?

Asker: It does.

Bashar: All right. It does.

Question About Future Help

Asker: You know, and I didn’t know that I was going to go off on this tangent.

Bashar: That’s all right. It’s not a tangent. It’s your life.

Asker: Because the real question I wanted to ask you was, do you think that this gentleman this afternoon will be able to help me?

Bashar: I am not going to answer that question in that way. You are being too linear. The gentleman has already helped you by showing you a reflection of something that you are. It is up to you to decide what associations to make based on getting in touch with your own intuitive abilities about what vibrations are in accord and not in accord with who you are.

I’m not going to answer the question that way for you because it’s way too linear and way too limiting.

Asker: Okay, but perhaps I should phrase it in…

Bashar: It doesn’t matter how you want to phrase it. I understand the essence of the question. You must understand the essence of my answer for you to get it. Okay, let go. Follow what we have said today in our transmission. If that’s the case, go.

Asker: No, if that’s the case, then I really shouldn’t be asking you any questions.

Bashar: That is true you know and if but there are no shoulds and shouldn’t you can if you want to and if asking the questions helps you to realize you don’t have to ask the questions then asking the question had benefit for you. But yes you have grasped the essence of it. None of you need to ask these questions except that if you ask them you are asking them of yourselves and you have the ability to answer them and the fact that we have now given you such a simple answer in our monologue really means that you have the answer to every possible question you could ever ask.

Asker: So with great respect, may I hand the microphone over and leave? Yes. And I really thank you.

Bashar: With great respect, we thank you for this co-creation and with great and unconditional love, we thank you for accepting yourself to whatever degree you are willing to do so because that is what makes all the difference in the world. And we thank you.

THIRD SEGMENT: DIFFICULTY WITH SURRENDER

Opening Exchange

Bashar: Number two, do you know who you are? Number three, do you know who you are? Number one, good day. Good day, Bashar.

Asker: Getting back to letting go and surrendering. Yes. I’m having a real hard time doing that.

Bashar: Why?

Asker: What do you think you need to hold on to?

Bashar: What is so important about who you think you are that you must hold on to it so tightly? What do you think you will lose if you let go?

Asker: It just feels like I would…

Bashar: I know it feels like you would because that’s the ego structure of the mind, right? But I guarantee if you will have a conversation with it and let it know that nothing will be lost, maybe you will be able to convince it. I don’t know. Depends on how good a talker you are.

But the idea really is that you’re never going to find out until you actually just give up and let go. That is why the technique that some of you finally use to in a sense force yourself to let go is you keep putting yourselves through things that make you so tired, so sick and tired that finally being sick and tired overcomes the fear you have of letting go, overbalances it. And you finally just let go, no matter how afraid you are to let go.

And when you let go, you find out there was nothing to be afraid of. And then it’s okay.

Panic After Letting Go

Asker: Well, I kind of did earlier this week and then got drawn back into…

Bashar: Not drawn back. You chose. You have to ask yourself why. Again, it may come down to the idea that you simply can’t believe everything will is a miracle and to trust it and let go and experience it. That’s the secret. That’s the key. You have to just do it. You have to be willing to just let go to find out.

Asker: Somehow though, it still seems very painful to do so.

Bashar: Then that’s your choice and that’s your desire to experience it that way.

Asker: I don’t wish to experience.

Bashar: Yes, you do. Or you wouldn’t. Remember all the talks we had about motivation? You’re all highly motivated. If you didn’t wish it, you wouldn’t experience it. Something is telling you that that’s what you want. So that’s what you choose.

You have to change that idea and have to be willing to believe that if you let go, it will be all right. If you’re not willing to believe it yet, that’s all right, too. But it simply comes down to the fact that you’re not willing to believe it yet for some reason of your own creation.

Asker: Well, I want to choose to believe it.

Bashar: Then go ahead. Okay. Now you yourself and I will simply take your word for this said that you did it before very briefly.

Asker: Well, so what?

Bashar: So what? Yeah, you did it. You got that far. Well, then you know you can do that. Did the world fall apart?

Asker: Actually the miracle started to happen and then I decided…

Bashar: And then you panic. Stop letting go. Why? If the miracle started to happen, why did you panic?

Asker: Because I figured what I want’s already here, so might as well grab on to it. But then it had the reverse effect of going away again.

Ongoing State of Being

Bashar: Oh, but you see, the idea is that you don’t grab on to it to possess it. You just let life happen. But you have to know that the things that happen will be dynamically geared to you, perfectly to you, because it’s a reflection of your true self that you are willing to be. So you don’t have to grab onto it and make it stay. That is the opposite of allowance.

And this takes if anything allowance. You must just allow what is going to happen to be the thing that needs to happen. And to know that it will be exactly perfectly miraculously the correct thing and not grab on and make something stick. That’s when you start the process in the opposite direction and put the limitations on everything again.

You must be willing to let go at every moment. At every moment. It’s not an idea we are talking about that you let go and then once you let go, aha, I have tricked my reality into giving me a miracle because I let go and now I can lock onto it again and I don’t have to open up anymore. It is an ongoing state of being. It is not a temporary thing for the purpose of tricking reality into manifesting something you want.

It is an ongoing state of being that allows reality and the universe to give you everything that you desire and to fulfill all of the things that you need and to allow your life to be joyful and abundant and rich and creative and loving and to feel loved.

Allowing Yourself to Be Loved

Another thing that the apprentice and the channel discovered is that because of the way you have been taught all of you, it is a difficult thing for you to allow yourself to be loved unconditionally. It scares you. It makes you uneasy to be loved unconditionally for many reasons. But nevertheless, that’s what you need to do. You need to allow yourself to be loved unconditionally.

And you need to allow yourself to be in that state all the time. Just be open without expectation all the time. Not just to use this as a technique for getting things, but to truly trust that if you just give up all the time, every moment, no matter what comes your way, you will constantly accelerate the flow because you will constantly be in the state of receiving, of being willing to receive what the creator has already given you.

Constant abundance and joy, unlimited possibilities. You can’t stop that process if you want to experience more of it. Make sense?

Asker: Well, I hope so.

Bashar: All right. Try and put it into practice. All right. It’s up to you. Find that spot and at least give yourself a chance. Give yourself a chance to feel what it’s like to just give up and say, “Okay, I give up. I give up my personality. I give up who I think I need to be. I give up what I think I need to do. I just surrender. I just stop. I just let it be okay at least for now to not have a care about anything. To not care. I know I am cared for. So I don’t have to care.”

My personality doesn’t have to care in that sense about what’s going on. I don’t mean you become an uncaring person. I simply mean you don’t have to care about what’s going to happen because you are cared for. Trust that and see what it feels like.

I guarantee you will like it a lot. A lot. And once you finally get a taste of it, a real taste of it, you won’t go back. You won’t give it up. Not for anything.

Asker: Well, I hope you’re right. I’m taking you up on your guarantee.

Bashar: It is a guarantee. But it’s not mine. It’s the creator. I can guarantee it because I’m guaranteeing it to you secondhand from creation. I didn’t invent this. This is creation talking to you in that sense. So it will work. I guarantee it. And when you feel it, you won’t go back. And that’ll be the clue that lets all of you know when you’ve actually felt it because you won’t go back. Believe me, you won’t give it up. You want to give it up? No way.

The Apprentice’s Experience of Shifting

Apprentice: She has felt it. It actually came with a visceral sensation of shifting realities. It actually came with a true sensation on all levels, emotional, intuitive, physical. It came with a complete sense that she is shifted. How she won’t give it up.

Bashar: What if you could get me maybe to elaborate for the group.

Apprentice: I don’t think I’m the only one who doesn’t know what’s going on here as far as what happened between the channel and the person you call apprentice.

Bashar: Just a conversation. Just a realization. A realization of exactly what we’re talking about. That it’s okay to just…

Apprentice: Yeah. No, I mean that is like the words meaning as a way of being. It is giving up the struggle. In other words, you don’t have to do this. I’m afraid of this. You don’t have to earn. You just have to be this idea that we’re all blessed. This is a miracle.

You see how excited she sounds? What’s that thing? To step up to the plate at every moment and just moment with no concerns about tomorrow. Be with whatever God has put in front of your face at that moment and just start happening. She just sort of like landed on her lap and I was laughing.

Bashar: Are you convinced?

Apprentice: Maybe not.

Bashar: But the point is she is not prioritizing. She is not trying to get you to change. She is coming from an earnest experience. The conviction in her energy can be enough to convince you if you want to be convinced that what she’s experiencing is real. That’s up to you and that will do for now.

Apprentice: Everything we’ve ever been taught against everything. Let it sink in. You know, you got to get up in the morning. You got to go to work. You got to pay your bill. You got to pay your taxes. You got to focus. You got to visualize. You know, and then all of a sudden I had this awakening.

And if that’s what’s hard to get up, that’s why it’s scary.

Bashar: Now you are channeling.

Apprentice: Yeah. I’ve been channeling for like a week straight.

Bashar: Channeling who you are. I’m not in the same reality that I was a week ago. A different totally different. And the same reality is not in you.

Apprentice: No. Awesome.

Bashar: It is full of awe. The same look and the faces look the same. Not really. Boy, what if you look close enough you’ll find out they don’t. Not to you anymore because you are talking to them in a different way than the other you would have. And that means you must be seeing something different in them. You must be seeing some potential in them that would allow them to experience what you have experienced. And therefore, you do see them differently. And how you’re seeing them right now is how I see them.

And why we have always said we believe in you utterly. But it doesn’t matter what we believe in. It only matters what you believe.

Crossing Over the River

Apprentice: I feel like I just crossed over the river. We’ve all been running together and I jumped over the river and I’m just looking back to see if they’re all jumping with me and they’re all kind of going. I’m going, “Look, I did it. You can do it.” Like, come on. You know, it’s really cool on the side of the river. There’s like there’s no stress.

Bashar: All right. Maybe that’s what it takes. Maybe they need to hear it that way. All right, one more time.

Apprentice: It’s really cool on this side of the river.

Bashar: Yeah, okay. I know there’s some cool things on that side of the river, but it’s really cool on this side of the river. Come on over and see. Whatever it takes. Whatever it takes. Let yourself go with it. You will find it is true.
