Non-metals are found on the upper right side of the periodic table.
They are poor conductors of heat and electricity, lack luster, and are often brittle in their solid form. Nonmetals can exist as solids, liquids, or gases at room temperature.
Examples include oxygen, carbon, and sulfur.
