The Elementary Charge is the ratio between virtual photons and the diameter of the hole that it goes through.

It takes 2 virtual photons to turn an electron. This leads its squaring while being spread over the aetherspace (which is denoted by hc):

α=e24πε0c \alpha = \frac{e^{2}}{4 \pi \varepsilon_{0} \hbar c}

An analogy is:

  • A Couloumb is a single strand of virtual photons
  • Elementary charge is the diameter of the hole in a proton or electron
  • 1/137 is the ratio of the diameter to the size of the atom
