The fine structure constant—denoted by the Greek letter α\alpha .

It is a dimensionless number, roughly equal to 1/1371/137 , that dictates the strength of the electromagnetic interaction between elementary particles.

Yet, mainstream physics offers no physical reason why this specific number exists, treating it merely as an arbitrary cosmic parameter.

But to us, the fine structure constant is the ratio between the aetherspace (atomic space) and virtual photons (striated particles).

This is because it is revealed only by electromagnetism on atoms.

  • Virtual photons facilitate electromagnetism
  • Atomic space facilitates atoms

The Ratio: 1 to 137

The fine structure constant α\alpha is the structural bridge between these two states of matter. It defines the exact proportion of resistance and clearance between the atomic space and the particles moving through it.

α=Energy of Striated Particles (Virtual Photons)Structural Capacity of Aetherspace (Atomic Space)1137\alpha = \frac{\text{Energy of Striated Particles (Virtual Photons)}}{\text{Structural Capacity of Aetherspace (Atomic Space)}} \approx \frac{1}{137}

This ratio means that for every unit of virtual photon that drills or spins into atomic space, 137 units of atomic space are spun.

As this is a prime number, this creates divisions or differences within the atomic space, splitting it into 2 or 3 regions.

It is the universal “gear ratio” of the atom. Just as a mechanical gearbox requires a precise ratio between the size of its teeth to prevent jamming, the atomic domain relies on this 1/1371/137 proportion to allow striated energy particles to glide fluidly through the rigid architecture of the aetherspace without tearing the atom apart.

The unclosed relation between virtual photon and the aetherspace then creates the difference in their layers or elements.

Because twentieth-century physics rejected the physical aether, it was forced to treat α\alpha as a magical, disembodied constant. Mainstream scientists wonder why the universe is tuned to this number, failing to realize that any physical fluid medium under confinement must have a definitive, mechanical coefficient of friction and shear.
